#bumpappreciation Throwing it back to my bump, when I could get all the privileges in the world without uttering a word. I was really in my soft life era. Now, we’re knee deep in the hard work!

It’s only been 8 weeks into motherhood and parenthood for us and it’s been a beautiful experience yet also quite challenging. There’s a lot I’m learning and navigating while feeling like I’m bricking it at every step. But the reward of watching our little one grow and develop is just indescribable 🩷

For the short time that I’ve been in this, I really want to appreciate all mothers and say THANK YOU! To the first timers, the experienced ones, the single mothers, those that are expecting, future mothers, those that can’t physically give birth but still mother others, angel mothers in heaven and all mother figures.

Ps - Shout out to our amazing friends @abisoyea_ @bobo_nova for doing a home maternity shoot for us and capturing such beautiful shots of us so effortlessly in slides 5&6 ❤️

2025 was far from perfect. For some people looking in, it might not have seemed that bad, but the lows felt very real and, at times, quite consistent especially towards the end of the year.

This is for anyone else who made it through a year that tested them quietly, repeatedly, and sometimes invisibly. For the days you held on with strength you didn’t even know you had.

Going into this new year, I’m choosing to see it as an opportunity to revisit what matters, reset where needed, and move forward with a little more stability and grace. Grateful to God for carrying me through, even on the days it felt heavy. You don’t need a perfect year to deserve a fresh start. Sometimes, making it through is more than enough.
