One thing I’m learning is that progress deserves to be acknowledged, even when you’re still working toward your goals. It’s so easy to focus on how far you have left to go that you forget how far you’ve already come.

And honestly, I think the same can be said about our prayers. Sometimes we become so focused on what we’re still believing God for that we overlook the prayers He’s already answered, the blessings He’s already given, and the ways He’s been faithful along the way.

There’s nothing wrong with expecting more, but I never want my anticipation for what’s next to overshadow my gratitude for what’s already been done. I’m learning to show up for myself, practice discipline, extend grace, and appreciate the process along the way.

The progress is mine to steward, but the glory will always be His🩵

It’s one thing to say we’re following Christ, but it’s another to allow Him to lead.

Sometimes our intentions seem right, our plans make sense, and our desires feel justified. But are we willing to let God’s Word correct us when His will challenges our own? Peter’s response in Matthew 16 is a reminder that even those who love Jesus can find themselves resisting what God has revealed.

And that calls for some honest self-examination. Are we truly surrendering, or are we still trying to have the final say?

Praying that the Lord helps us not just to desire His will, but to truly submit to it❤️🌷

One thing about me? I LOVE a space that encourages creativity🤭💕💐

As a creative myself, I know how easy it is to have a million ideas and keep putting them off until you have the right equipment, the right setting, or everything perfectly planned. But sometimes, having access to the right space is exactly what you need to get started.

One of my favorite parts of being the Studio Manager at @banksmediastudio is getting to see how differently people use the same space. From content creation and photoshoots to bringing an entirely new vision to life, there’s so much room to explore what you can create.

Not everyone is going to understand you, your decisions, or what God is doing in your life. And they really don’t have to.

People understand things through the lens of what they know, what they’ve experienced, and what they can see. Sometimes there’s room for clarification and sometimes there’s room for conversation. Other times, you just let it be.

Everything doesn’t need to be explained, corrected, and understood. Knowing the difference will save you a lot of unnecessary weight💕🙂‍↕️
