David Bedella Reflects On His New Role

We met with David Bedella to talk about Daniel’s Husband and the personal questions the play brings to the surface. He shared how the story reached him from the first read, why the themes felt close to home and what he carries from the rehearsal room each day. 
David also spoke about the power of connection in his work, the importance of a safe creative space and the joy he finds in the people he performs with. 
Daniel’s Husband runs at Marylebone Theatre from 4 December to 10 January, brought to the UK for the first time with a strong cast and creative team.

David Bedella (with Charlotte d’Amboise & Terrence Mann!) is coming on #SethsBwayCruise in October from the U.K. to Spain, Portugal & The Canary Islands! Here’s what he has to say (he’s American, but has been in London in more than 20 years. So you can hear this in your head with a mid-Atlantic accent.)
🚢 Some of my happiest times, believe it or not, have been on a cruise. I love being at sea, surrounded by spectacular views, various ports to explore, more food and drink than anyone needs and all of us with a common goal, to relax and celebrate and have fun!

The fact that we get to concert and chat with the great Seth Rudetsky, one of my oldest and dearest friends, and holiday with him and James is simply the icing on the cake.

I hope fans of the West End and Broadway will join us in celebrating the theatre and exploring the Canaries and Portugal. We’re gonna have a ball! 🎶🚢 by @bedellad
