Casa Mollino: A Hidden Masterpiece in Turin

Casa Mollino, the secret apartment of Carlo Mollino, reflects the eclectic genius of this architect, designer, and artist. Located in Turin, the space was meticulously designed between 1960 and 1968 as a symbolic private retreat inspired by Egyptian tombs. Filled with unique furniture, vibrant decor, and occult symbolism, it embodies Mollino’s obsessions with movement, female forms, and aesthetics. Though he never lived there, the apartment became a posthumous treasure, restored in 1999 by Fulvio and Napoleone Ferrari. Portrait Milano presents Arcipelago Botanico, a site specific installation by Italian artist Agostino Lacurci, curated by Valentina Ciarallo. From July 2 to August 31, 2026, the piazza of the former Archbishop’s Seminary transforms into a dreamlike botanical garden featuring eight monumental sculptures inspired by the memory of historic gardens, bold color palettes, and contemporary imagination.

Keyla Hotel & Beach is a new hotel on the Mediterranean coast of Antalya, located near where the Düden waterfall meets the sea. The design draws on a broader Mediterranean language, set within the landscape of Turkey’s own ancient shoreline. The interiors favor natural materials throughout: warm wood paneling, woven cane headboards, linen in sand and sage, and stone surfaces left rough underfoot. Brass details appear in the fittings and fixtures. Rooms open onto private terraces, some facing the pool, others the open horizon. The hotel includes a private beach with direct access to the sea from the rocks and a rooftop facing the water. From 6 May to 22 November 2026, the Museo Fortuny presents a solo exhibition dedicated to Austrian artist Erwin Wurm, curated by Elisabetta Barisoni and Cristina Da Roit. Known for redefining sculpture through humor, absurdity, and everyday objects, Wurm transforms the ordinary into something surreal and thought-provoking. A highlight of the exhibition is his Dreamers series, featuring oversized cushions and bed-like forms supported by human limbs legs, arms, and feet creating playful yet uncanny sculptures that evoke themes of rest, escapism, and the subconscious.
