Today's renovation progress! IGNORE my utterly exhausted brain dead babbling...or laugh with me instead!!
Tile work begins... I hate tile, swore I would not use any... BahaHAAAaaaaa... saw these....the rest is history. The front porch is coming along nicely, we got to use Bob's Elephants at his bar! #thriftstorefinds and the #samuelyellin not thrift store finds from Olde Good Things are fun reuse! The tile guy is an artist and art collector! He likes our eclectic tastes! Tony, our gc was having a blast setting the elephants in place. More #renovation nearing completion! Edited to tag the great places we have bought many house parts! The sink in the exercise room bathroom is from Olde Good Things in NY and PA... we have a bunch of wall lights and a cool chandelier from there, doors (pantry door!) Etc... Half bath vanity from Boston Consignment in MA 🥰 and Mirror from Re antiques in RI. We have many things from those great places as well! by @bee__bob

After a bit of a lull in posting.....so sorry! (( #livingthroughrenovations )) here is a LONG video and photo construction dump! Our Kitchen Is Nearly Done! Only took 23 years 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 #kitchendesign #lacornuechateau #ilovelife I do still have lots of pix and videos of some of the processes that got is here... I might eventually post... I have now become a Swedish dishwasher repair person( Bob's hands couldn't fit! I definitely need to post the video evidence,)... at some point..... We love EVERYTHING our incredible contractors have done. We have pieced together old house parts, some newer, some hand made... in an existing home. The imperfections are perfect! Our style is eclectic and crazy and not for everyone! We have gotten alot of the house components so cheap it makes up for the $500,000.00 that was stolen. Haha... Not Even Close... but seriously, we couldn't be happier! Well... getting the stolen money back would be great.... Ok, more when my brain resets🥰

I realized I am so tired and brain dead I forgot to tag a couple of our favorite places to buy vintage, used and antique stuff! I have remedied this now by tagging Rē Antiques in Rhode Island and Boston Consignment in MA ! by @bee__bob

Well... today is dangerously hot and frankly disgusting. The animals and greenery are not prepared to be this hot this early. Bob's factory closes for 2 weeks in July because it was always the hottest time of year....THIS IS MAY! It is crazy! Please think about anyone working in this heat. Offer your yard workers or construction people Water, Shade, A day off with pay.... Check in on elderly or infirm... if you have AC offer to let someone in need come to your home or place of work... BE CAREFUL EVERYONE in NewEngland! #too hot #newenglandweather by @bee__bob

Well as the song says..."it's your birthday!" But it is not also my birthday too... as it goes on to say...🤣🤣
39 years ago I was doing barnwork and went into labor... I was delighted (but exhausted) to give birth 12 hours from this hour.. to Richard Charles Schaefer! He made it in just before it became Tomorrow! Haha Happy Birthday Richard, love you Mum by @bee__bob
