🚂 the dungeon anarchist’s cookbook 💣

ALL ABOARDDDDD another dungeon crawler carl review 🫡✨

i am still making my way through writing reviews for this ones 😅 i read them ages ago but i really wanna spotlight each one on my page as i love them so much 😆

this one was such a hectic ride 🚂 i am so glad i did not need to figure out the iron tangle (i would’ve died 😆)

book 3 of dcc follows carl, donut AND KATIA (NUMBER 1 BESTIEEEE) on floor four of the dungeon which is essentially a nightmare tangle of train tracks 👀

i loved how this one properly introduced more crawlers and explored the dynamic between the party 🥹

if you still havent read dungeon crawler carl THIS IS YOUR SIGNNNN you will love it i promise 🫡

🌲 credence - i went into this blind and safe to say i was jumpscared by the plot HAHAH
🌊 a study in drowning - put me in a HUGE reading slump 😭
🏒 the deal - LOVED the show but the book was NOT it i have beef with book garrett 😆
💚 normal people - both the characters were driving me CRAZY they just had to have a conversation about what they both wanted and the book wouldve been 200 pages shorter 🫠
🥀 annihilation - the main character’s narration was so frustrating, felt like we were going in circles and every time the plot felt like it was going somewhere it would stop 😭
👑 fearless - most disappointed ive been for a final book in a series in forever 😭 by @beebookish

i absolutely adore @fictiondistilling so so much - they make the yummiest gins + liqueurs in book shaped bottles 🥹

they are local to me in adelaide and i absolutely love seeing them at local book events and launches 🤩

my package from @dragonsteelbooks made it’s way across the ocean to me and im so excited to welcome my new concussion slug to my collection 🥹 i am over the moon to have grabbed a signed + numbered special edition before they sold out!! this is truly one of my favourite series and i am absolutely obsessed ✨

i forgot how much i love this world - i was tearing up a couple of chapters in because of how much i love this series 😭🤩

i was absolutely SCREAMING over chapter four - iykyk 👀 i really enjoyed the dual pov between the mcs and their teenage awkwardness with their romantic interests😆

bob the comm slug absolutely stole the show for me - he’s such a cutie and i too, want to cuddle all the slugs 🥹

congratulations @jancipatterson & @brandsanderson on another stunning novel - i am absolutely cannot wait for songrise 🤩

when i tell you this is one of THE BEST books i’ve read this year - i am NOT exaggerating 😱

if you are looking for your next witchy and spooky this is for you 🤩

our dark unravelling is set in a dark academia high school nestled in the adelaide hills and follows george and lyssa, try to cope with their classmate’s death - when spooky hauntings start occurring 👀

i am a horror movie fanatic and i rarely get spooked by books but a few chapters in i was SCARED 😆 so many of the hauntings were unnerving i was actively stressing while reading - it read like a horror movie in the best way 🤩

this book also handles unhealthy relationships in such a nuanced way which is perfect for a ya book - especially for younger people to recognise toxic behaviours ✨

THE ENDING?!?! HELLO??? i have SO MANY QUESTIONS 😭😆
