A New French Drain. First the ditch add some drainage pipe cloth and a healthy layer of stone. Next add the pipe making sure its sleeved and more stone. Don’t skimp on stone. Add another layer of drainage pipe cloth then start covering it up. Grading and finish seeding. #cat309 #gradingbuckets, @beech.hill.vegetation #readingvtown #vermontbyvermonters #vermont by @beech.hill.vegetation

Slope mowing @ Gilbert Hill Woodstock. Pictures never do justice on just how steep this slope represents, 28 - 35 degrees is steep. The last guy who did it the oil was coming out the back of his tractor. I side slope some of this too. Hadn’t been mowed in a bunch of years so plenty of poplar to mow through too. @beech.hill.vegetation #bunnieshill #maschio #ttr7600infinity #woodstockvt #pomfretvt #extremeslopemowing by @beech.hill.vegetation

Last night my wallet was stolen. To everyone Apple AirTags work. I tracked my wallet through the night. This morning I went to a Rome Police Station who had the wallet. I identified it and its contents and it was returned less cash inside.
I have to thank also Georgia who was a wonderful woman I met who translated for me. Not all people are bad, there are good people with my wallet returned.
Thank you Georgia she own 3 Airbnb’s in Roma. We will be contacting her for another stay.

Off to Boston via Dartmouth Coach, then a trip long in the planning. Boston to Istanbul to Munich. My beloved tractor 🚜Sophia got a brain 🧠 transplant where she has gone from 75 hp to 100 hp. #ttr7600infinity #liquidsol Then the real fun begins with Karen & I taking the choo choo to Italy 🇮🇹 where we will be spending a month driving the curves with much walking 🚶 and exploring all that Italy has to offer. Wine 🍷, pasta 🍝, cheese 🧀 historic sites, art 🖼️, museums. and fabulous people and landscapes. Stay tuned. @beech.hill.vegetation The farm is occupied by our wonderful dog 🐕 Jasper & cat 🐈‍⬛ Stretch who are being cared by our house sitter. #liquidsol by @beech.hill.vegetation

More on today’s Snowmagedan. Most snow we have had in 2 years and add to it the wind was blowing causing a lot of drifting. Not as fast as a plow, but no big piles of snow either and the gravel driveway stays where it is supposed to….. on the driveway. @beech.hill.vegetation #ttr7600infinity #vermontlife #vermontbyvermonters #readingvt by @beech.hill.vegetation
