Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and Jim is in full swing casting napkin rings for your holiday table settings. This reel is a little on the long side, but we thought you might be interested to see all (well, almost all) the steps involved.

Beautiful, useful things make baking and cooking a joy.

And who couldn't use more of that every day?

We've got a thing for cute little animals.

Come by our studio/shop this Sunday for the #warrenwalkabout, and enjoy the sunshine, live music, local arts, and great food, all in our beloved little town!

We've been awfully busy gearing up for the holidays- too busy, it seems to capture some images to share. Luckily, the fine people at @hamletny have taken some wonderful pictures of their gorgeous new restaurant. We've loved seeing our candlesticks on the tables throughout and are excited to share some images of this warm, beautiful space!

So many ways to celebrate welcoming a new baby to the world!

We sent out a newsletter this morning about the baby cups and spoons we make, and in writing it I really thought about how extraordinary it is to make an object that someone will keep for their whole life. That’s, like, a lot of pressure! We’re grateful to hear from so many customers that parents are delighted to have received one of our baby cups, and it means a lot that these special little objects we make and love become family heirlooms. And really, how many heirlooms are this cute???

FYI – pewter baby cups are food safe (of course), anti-bacterial and anti-microbial, so they are practical as well as ceremonial gifts to give. And it’s not just that they’re made from a beautiful, celebratory material – they’re thoughtfully designed and engraved right here in our studio.

It’s no wonder we love them. And we know you will too.

It's all hands on deck to finish packing up the ornament order for @themetstore . It's possible that Jim had a *little* too much coffee this morning!

Labor and love. Because we work with our hands every day, it can be easy to take for granted how special a handmade object truly is. Getting the lid to fit just right, touching up little spots so the surface of the metal catches the light, and a thousand other considerations go into everything we make. After years of making, details of the process become second nature in a way that is familiar but no less special.

In my heart and mind, it's still summer, but at the studio, we're gearing up for the holidays and getting ready to ship this year's collaboration with the @metmuseum . The ornaments in this year's collection are The Watchful Cat based on a watercolor by John Alonzo, a Baby Elephant from The Circus series by Messer's Gum, and a Greek Owl based on a terracotta skyphos (which is a deep-drinking cup - I didn't know, either).

We love bringing these to life and are honored to be part of supporting The Met's collection, conservation, and presentation of artwork from around the world. Look for them online in just a few weeks!
