BOSTON MARATHON!! So much emotion in this picture crossing the finish line. I crushed a PR that I didn’t even see coming. At mile 14 @pursuitofperformance__ and @swartzcenter said we were pacing in the 3:40s. I locked that into my mind and told myself whatever it takes, I will make it happen. Without them it wouldn’t have been possible. Also Boston gets LOUD, the crowds support carried me throughout the whole race. I learned a lot about myself yesterday and what I’m capable of in the future. This is chapter 1, the prequel is over

This Chicago marathon has been my best performance so far and I couldn’t be more proud. This summer I poured so much more of myself into running and seeing the return on investment Sunday was special. My training block was way better than last year but not perfect at all. I ran higher mileage but was absolutely lacking consistency and confidence quite often on my end most days. We tripled our volume from last summer and emphasized speed work and holy pay off.

I did feel like I had a lot in the tank during this race. The whole race I felt super strong but couldn’t really catch my stride until the last 4 miles when everyone else starts cramping😭.

TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND STRANGERS!!! The support on the course was absolutely insane! I heard absolutely everyone. Chicago I love you!! I need that sub 3 next year.

Had a special story on NBC news about me running the Chicago marathon. If you told me a year ago that things would be happening like this, I would 100% believe it. All the work that I put it in over the past year to just put myself on display and show I’m here just like everyone else is paying off finally. Getting to watch this for the first time yesterday definitely had me a little choked up. Let’s go kill on Sunday by @beekshow
