My glassy tamptamps got accepted into @artisansasylum “Vessels” exhibit!!!!! Ahhhhhh!!! I feel so lucky! The reception is on July 10 if you’re around!!!

Here’s my lil description guy for the gallery (please feel welcome to share any of your stories!):
Despite millions of people using this humble vessel every day, its stories are shrouded by the walls of shame and guilt that misogyny has built around it. As I created these glassy tampons and talked to friends I knew well, I started to hear new stories about the people I love and their menstruation frustrations and fluctuations. Liberation or oppression, peace or pain, appreciation or distain, what has this vessel done for you, my friend? by @beena.lynn

A collaboration with amazing artist @beena.lynn is now complete. Melted, shaped, and transformed out of glass, Ursula rises from the watery depths encircled by prisms of light and herring. Herring scales as well as the clear glass tentacles and body of Ursula reflect back the colors surrounding them. She will head over to @liaisestudio to be added to the collaborative first Friday show, Water Ways. Hope to see you there. taken in Senate Properties by @beena.lynn

I took my new friend outside for a lil photo shoot today! I do want to try a second one and try to get some of them details a bit more refined and dainty (she’s demure, yall!) for yall glass nerds, I used @glassalchemy amazon bronze and grape, and then barely melted in some raven frit :) by @beena.lynn

AHHHHHH!! @artisansasylum chose my corpse flower dick to be in their Absurdity exhibit!!!!!!! So fucking excited and grateful to get to share my art I’m literally melting over hereeee. Also need to always thank @maxinegreij and @trina.caterina for just being the best most encouraging teachers a bitch like me could have ☺️☺️☺️ This hunk of glass is my second attempt at my corpse flower vagina dentata eating a broken dick… attempt #3 will begin after I finish what I’m working on for the Waterways project!!!!!!! by @beena.lynn

JP Open Studios is this weekend! I’ll be outside Curtis Hall on Saturday and Sunday from 11-6 with prints and glassy things! Including a smattering of things I’ve made recently that I’ll be selling including booby bodies, bodies with top surgery scars, lots of different colored 😻😻😻, and lots of other shit!
