05:04PM 05/07/22 “Celestial Schematics”

Picked this one while passing through Wrightwood at Jensen’s Grocery Store. Never saw this one before and not only did the art look cool the description made my mouth water. Almanac never seems to disappoint whether it’s their sours or IPA’s and this one is no different. From the first sip to the last this thing was absolutely DELICIOUS! Extremely refreshing and full of flavor. It was crispy and at moments juicy. I’d def love to grab a few more of these.

09:13PM 01/22/22 “90 Minute IPA”

We don’t just drink one off craft beers, sometimes we need to go back to staples in the craft beer world and this is one everyone should know and have. @dogfishhead makes incredible ipas and this one is no exception. At 9% abv you’d think this imperial would be overpowering or extremely bitter but you’d be surprised to know it’s very mellow and super smooth. It has the perfect amount of bite followed by the most delicious hop flavors. Had this one ice cold and poured into a glass and was not disappointed at all. Def give this one a try if you haven’t already.

Purchased: my brother @gersonsanchez81 brought this one to me but I’m sure you can find it at a beer spot near you

10:20PM 12/30/21 “Creatures of Habit”

Creatures of Habit is a 7.2% ABV Hazy IPA that comes to us from @creativecreaturebrewing in collaboration with @emboldenbeerco

I don’t actually remember where I picked this one up as I’ve had this one in the fridge for maybe close to a year but it had to be from one of my favorite craft beer spots
@valerobeercave @redcarpetliquor @smart_time_liquor

I obviously picked this one up because of the amazing can art by @the_vigilante88

I know I know you’re not supposed to hang onto IPA’s for this long but I was saving this for a special occasion and that occasion came today in the form of a new camera 📷 so I had to whip this one out to test and taste 😋 and it DID NOT disappoint. It was delicious from the first to the last sip and if you can still find it I’d definitely recommend. I give this one a solid 4/5 ⭐️ especially since it held together so well after such a long time.

10:32AM 11/28/21 “Urbs In Horto”

While browsing for a 🍺 to take home from @valerobeercave I came across this amazing art by @jetsah for @hopbutcher and I knew right away I had to make a video. I quickly sketched my vision, purchased all the props, and got to work. It turned out being more tedious than I had anticipated (had to take about 300 photos and put together this fake living room 😅) but in the end I think the work was worth it. Bonus points to anyone that knows what movie is playing in the background.

Equipment used:
Sony A7iii + SmallRig Cage
Sigma MC-11 + Sigma 24mm F1.4
Edelkrone SliderPlus V5 Pro Long + Slide Module V3 + 2 HeadOnes w/ Tilt Kit
Manfrotto Carbon Fiber Twin Leg Tripod
Accsoon CineEye II + Feelworld FW568
Godox SL60W Video Light and Softbox

Of course thanks to my family who’s help I had to enlist since I couldn’t be in two places at once.

02:36PM 08/29/21 “Crimson Bouquet”

What’s up @beerventuresofficial family! Absolutely fell in love with the art on this can and knew I had to showcase it properly. I honestly had no idea what would come out of the can since I had this one sitting in the fridge for a few months and everyone knows ipas don’t “age” well. Upon popping it open I was very surprised to see the blood 🩸 red color and as I watched it pour I could smell the different aromas of the fruit and hops. My mouth was watering but unfortunately I couldn’t drink it just yet because I wanted to make this for all of you 🤗 when I was finally able to take a sip I could tell right away that the time in the fridge definitely had an effect because at first all I got was pure ipa 🍺 and no fruit whatsoever. I took a spoon and mixed it all back together again and let me tell you 👌🏼 DELICIOSO 🤤 it was exactly what I had been hoping it’d taste like. A perfect merriment between two different worlds of craft beer…sour and Indian pale ale. If you’re able to find this one still out there in the wild I’d def recommend you try it, but not before a good good mixin’ and don’t forget to report back with your findings 👍🏼

09:33PM 05/14/21 “Checkerboard Red”

I was extremely excited to try this one after reading it had Galaxy Hops in it. I was super thirsty and had chilled it to perfection 👌🏼 As soon as I poured it I was astonished and very pleasantly surprised to see the most beautiful orange glow cascading from the can into the glass. If you thought I was thirsty before imagine after seeing it 👀 I put the glass up to my nose and inhaled taking in all the exquisite aromas of hops and grains. That was it I was drooling and in agony having to wait to capture the perfect photo to share with you all. Upon first sip I knew…I knew right away I was in love. As soon as it hit my tongue I was sent on a rollercoaster of pure juiciness and beautiful hop flavors. You get a perfect balance between what I consider a sweeter and “darker” hop with the Mosaic and a citrusy, aromatic hop like the Galaxy. This beer is no slouch in the alcohol category coming in at a nice 8% abv that you can definitely taste. Overall I loved this beer and recommend anyone that likes nice juicy and hoppy IPA’s to try it out.
