Hello friends! I made a zine recently to help share the story of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo— I made a digital version so that I could share it here. I feel as though what happened on July 7th has not been spoken about enough. Lorenzo was a victim of ICE and unjustly murdered. The DHS is hiding the name of his killer from local Texas law enforcement officials to this very day, and it is a corrupt use of federal power.
Please, share Lorenzo’s story. Learn and remember his name. Remember what happened— this does not deserve to fade into obscurity after a few months. We as a culture are too desensitized to intense corruption and harm to our neighbors and communities. I implore everyone to get locally organized connect with those that live around you.
I have also attached a QR code to the GoFundMe for Lorenzo’s family— if you have the money to spare, please consider donating! If not, please share to everyone you can 💖 Thank you so much for your time

Here is a Zine I made featuring the story of Johan (Joan) Sebastián Guerrero, another life that was destroyed by ICE. He did not deserve this. NOBODY deserves this.
I’ve made these zines for Lorenzo and Johan because I have seen little to no uproar for these men outside of their communities because the loudest, most privileged voices often refuse to have empathy for people who do not look like them. I share these stories now, way past their time on the front page of the news to remind everyone that these stories are still happening. ICE agents are still being protected. Families still need support and are still grieving their lost loved ones. And they are not the only ones this has happened to. Please, give them the time and attention and mourning that they deserve.

Hello everyone!
With the growing presence and aggressiveness of ICE recently, I wanted to make this infographic on how to involve yourself in protecting your communities. This is not an exhaustive list, and is meant to provide a jumping off point for those who do not know how they can help. I recommend that everyone look into your local orgs to continue and deepen the efforts to fight what is going on in our country. Consider this a call to action.
Please, also be mindful that this is speaking to those with privilege— if your race or ethnic background makes these actions risky, prioritize your safety and help from afar where you can.

Thank you for reading 💖
