To understand the everflow of consciousness you dive to the depths of your own. This journey feels endless, tireless and free. A light of boundless joy compliments the shadow of naked dread only to be spit out of the same end of the quantum tunnel. The problem is, you’re still searching, and searching, and searching. You will search and restrain and deny until a deep stillness discovers you. An infinite sea of nothingness contained into a single droplet that upon investigating, expands and seeps into the deepest corners of every universe. In its purest form, unfiltered by the nearly comical superstructural warps of the ego, you have finally reached it. Naturally, you end up back where you started.

This piece was made on the forest floor as an exploration of my connection to nature through a meditative painting practice. I synchronized my brush strokes and movement to the rhythm of my breathing.

Driftin ‘cross neural feelings

Haven’t got a tune to me
But I sure know what it’s like.

Two words take me towards the thwart wardens warts.

“I’ve been good.”

This body of work explores the relationship between humanity and nature, as well as painting as a form of meditation and spiritual connection. Through painting in rhythm with my breath while surrounded by the forest, the process became a method of accessing the subconscious through heightened awareness of the conscious mind. Rather than depicting nature as an external subject, the work approaches it as a collaborator, a living presence that actively shapes the physical and emotional experience of painting. #paint #nature #meditation #explore by @beetleshortie
