Shall we …? ➡️ Mình … không?

Unlike English, which uses helper words like "shall, should, would, or let's" to form suggestions, Vietnamese grammar is much more direct. 🫵

It relies on the basic building blocks of Pronoun + Verb and then adds "ending words" (particles) to change the type of the sentence. 🧱👷‍♀️

So, to say "Shall we...?", you are literally just asking, "We [verb] or not?". Mình đi không -> We go or not?

Mình + [verb] + không?

Here is a list of verbs, try asking me in the comments, and I'll give you an answer. 🤔

Room tour of honestly the best hotel we've ever stayed in! 🏨✨

Welcome to Hotel Fantasia in Dalat. We stayed in what they call the "Bond Deluxe room," and the space was both super spacious and incredibly cosy.

Right when we checked in, we were welcomed with fresh cut fruits and cake waiting for us 🍰🍇. What honestly shocked us was finding the room decorated with beautiful fresh flowers too.

Everything was super clean and had this great vintage feel, and the bathroom is just beautiful. 🛁
We chose the room with the mountainside view, which is a great option if you enjoy watching the fog roll over the mountains ⛰️🌫️.

The level of attention to detail and consistency in this room and the entire hotel was mind-blowing.

Found the cutest cozy, duck-themed bar in District 1! 🦆✨

📍: Another Drink - Hẻm 18bis/30B, Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai, Sài Gòn, Hồ Chí Minh

This spot is super cozy and has such a playful vibe. There are ducks everywhere—in the paintings, drawings, and even all over the menu. It's honestly worth a visit for the aesthetics alone! 🎨

I don't drink much and am pretty sensitive to that strong alcohol bite, but my boyfriend loves trying cocktails around the city.

Overall, we found the drinks to be quite sweet with a strong boozy finish. Even so, we still had a great time at this hidden gem. 💛

I'm never disappointed when I visit @junohair.vietnam.official ✨

Recently, my scalp has been itchy and uncomfortable, and it was starting to affect my mood. I think it's a mix of traveling, pollution, and stress, along with my naturally oily hair.

The shampoo and conditioner I use at home only keep my scalp feeling fresh for about two days before it gets uncomfortable again. Worse, when I wash my hair at home, so much of it falls out 😭

I decided enough is enough and headed back to JUNO Hair. I've had my hair styled by them before, and they recently introduced a scalp treatment spa 💆🏻‍♂️

I went with their deepest 15-step scalp treatment 🫧. They even used a microscope 🔬 to show me the trapped oils in my hair follicles. Those oils weaken the roots and cause hair to fall out, and off-the-shelf shampoos just can't remove them.

After the multi-step wash, I could feel every little breeze on my scalp 🌬️. What surprised me was that they didn't just quickly dry my hair like most salons; they took great care with the blowout and spent time properly styling it at the end.

JUNO Hair is worth every đồng, I'll definitely be back! 💯
