Such a wonderful conversation with Gordon Robertson on CBN about my story and 'Jerusalem Calls' - and some of his story, too! We could've talked longer - God is so magnificent!

To watch or listen, the link is in the comments, as well as my bio & stories.

Such a treat to be able to meet fellow @readbakerbooks authors @bravecharleston — and spend time with our awesome editor @racheljwelcher! It was an amazing first night with such powerful messages from @hosanna.wong and @debhopper taken in Charleston, South Carolina by @beginningwithmoses

Tapping into my childhood—with 10 plague finger puppets—for some levity before teaching on the onset of the plagues and Pharaoh’s hardening heart…!

With Sukkot, the Feast of Booths, ending tonight at sundown, I thought I would share about the significance of something Jesus said as the pilgrims were packing up to leave Jerusalem and return home: “I am the Light of the World”

I wanted to share a thought with you about Jesus at his last Feast of Booths as I sit here under the slowly collapsing roof of my own backyard booth/sukkah…

Sweet fellowship in my sukkah on this breezy fall day. Building new friendship over hot tea, challah & honey, and my grandma’s apple strudel.
(It was so lovely being together, Melissa!)

Sukkot — the Feast of Booths — pushes against September’s hurried pace, drawing us outside where we tend to linger longer in conversation.

While writing Jerusalem Calls, I loved envisioning the ancient scene of hundreds of thousands of booths blanketing Jerusalem’s hill during this feast, especially when Jesus entered the scene—as both child and rabbi💜 by @beginningwithmoses
