This is why I love my job- no day is the same !

Over the last few days we have been guests of Sony at Pinewood Studios to use their Virtual production screen for one of our projects…. It was a truly wonderful opportunity to use this technology!

Well …things don’t always go to plan!

With one of our freelancers I was asked to try to recreate a shot from a previous shoot we did at the start of 2025, where we had a drone fly over the “driveway rain” fireworks … (scroll down to see that finished edit) however With the recent rain and wind we knew this would be very difficult… such a shame! by @behind_the_camera_team

Another great long term project I have been working on over the last two years; the conservation and sustainability of the trundle.

Our first project was on the archeological history of the trundle viewable on the Goodwood website or by taking a walk up the trundle and scanning the QR code.

This project focuses on the ecology of the trundle, looking at the plants and butterflies that can be found in the summer. Along with the importance of grazing livestock on the trundle.

Take a look at the cut down version here …

Sneak peak at a project I have been working on since October… Hound lodge’s new promotional campaign

I have been working with Jon, Miranda and Ellie for the last few months planning and story boarding- to make it come to life we pulled in the rest of Goodwood productions team, the hound lodge team and our talented pool of freelancers to finally see this in action was something special- stay tuned for the final campaign.

@jedclist_lighting @dom_thecameraman - thanks for your work!

Also thank you to @joannasboutiquetearoom for helping keep the 30+ team fed for all three shoot days wonderful buffet selection ! by @behind_the_camera_team

Molly dog visited the office this week. She found the only sunny spot in the room and demanded belly rubs from every who entered… I think she enjoyed her day!

This year it’s been an absolute pleasure to build the working relationship between Goodwood Racecourse and Goodwood Productions.

Looking back this is only a small amount of the amazing work our wonderful team and talented freelancers that we work with have captured over this race season … let’s see what we can capture in 2026!

A part of Goodwood that is not normally seen or thought about and that’s the abundance of wild mushrooms that grow on its grounds.

I was lucky enough with one of our freelancers to go and learn about foraging!

In my roll I’m very lucky to work across all parts of the Goodwood Estate. I get first hand experience of what amazing work each department is doing.
Recently this included the new Mood food retreat that will be offered to help people understand what we are putting into our bodies and how that affects us, along with coping with things like stress and burn out.

Truly powerful components!
