Most LLC owners have signed a contract the wrong way at least once, and never noticed.

If you own a business with someone else, this is the conversation you keep putting off.

Contractors, save this one 🔨

You’ve probably signed way more jobs than contracts. A handshake, a text thread, maybe an invoice, and somehow the business ran fine, until it didn’t.

These four are the ones I see missing the most: a subcontractor agreement that actually protects you, a scope of work and change order process so scope creep doesn’t come out of your pocket, a contract with real payment and lien terms, and insurance documentation that holds up when something goes wrong on site.

None of this is about distrust. It’s about not finding out the hard way that a handshake was never enough.

Quick one for anyone who’s ever been handed an NDA and signed it without really reading it. 🖊️

Here’s the thing nobody tells you: when someone else sends you the NDA, it was written to protect them, not necessarily you. One sided terms, vague confidentiality language, no real protection on your end, all of it happens more than people realize.

Having your own NDA means you’re not negotiating from someone else’s document, you’re starting from your own terms. And if you need one in place, let’s get it done right.
