This book will most likely belong to the “books you could not pay me to put down” category if I ever made an entry for that trend!

I went into this one completely blind. The cover piqued my interest, but right off the bat, the story pulled me in and had fully kept me invested. The writing was beautiful, engaging, and worth pondering over. Best believe, I higlighted SO many lines in this one and even took down some that struck me!!

It’s been some time since a book earned 5-stars from me! I’m glad this is the first book I’ve read this month. Now feeling really hopeful that October will be filled with so many great reads 🩷💐

I used to think thrillers would always be my go-to, but then Sophie Cousens came along and completely changed the game for me 🙈💛 She’s officially my one and only auto-read romance author so far.

Fun fact: this will be my fourth book of hers this year, and I genuinely get so excited whenever I spot one of her works here in the Ph. And atp, I made it my mission to always keep an eye out coz I rarely see them 🔎📚

Here’s to hoping it lives up to its title 🥳💐

Had this sitting in my drafts for days bc work has been so busy but it’s finally time!!!! 🙈✨

Lucidium by @nora.paigeauthor : A Review

This might just be one of the most intriguing books I’ve read in the past few months. The concept, the characters, and the mystery surrounding everything had me completely HOOKED. And if I’m being honest, the professor was really unsettling, which just shows how effectively he was written. I don’t think I was ever fully at ease whenever he appeared. Best believe I probably looked like this 🫪 But really… the chapters left me wanting answers that I’m totally seated for the next one!

Thanks to Nora Paige for sending me an ARC. Lucidium releases on August 17, 2026, and if you’re looking for a book that keeps you curious and takes you to another world, this is definitely one to add to your TBR 📖🤍

Seven Brides for Beau McBride by @amybarryauthor 🐻 Book Review 📖

This book completely surprised me! I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. I came for the romance and stayed for the absolute chaos. 🤭 I was entertained from the very first page!
