POV: You just discovered Beijing’s most peaceful moment… before everyone else does. ✨🌅

The Temple of Heaven looks completely different at sunrise. Before the tour groups arrive, you’ll find quiet pathways, soft golden light, and locals practicing tai chi, dancing, singing, and playing traditional instruments in the surrounding park.

Built in the early 15th century, this architectural masterpiece was where Ming and Qing emperors came to pray for good harvests. Today, it’s one of Beijing’s most iconic landmarks, and one of the best places to experience the city’s morning rhythm.

✨ Pro tip: Arrive right when the gates open for the most peaceful atmosphere, cooler temperatures, and the best light for photos.

Air China is expanding its international network with a new direct route from Beijing Capital Airport to Bucharest, launching on September 4, 2026. The airline will operate three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays using modern Airbus A330-200 aircraft. The journey from Beijing to Bucharest takes approximately 15 hours 25 minutes, while the return flight is 14 hours 10 minutes, offering Beijing travelers direct access to Romania and easier onward connections to Zagreb and other European destinations. by @beijing.explore
