We COMPLETED our first half marathon!! That’s a wrap on 22.4 miles in 3 days 💪🏾

This one was really hard for me, 13.1 miles seems simple, but when you’re in the moment running, it feels really long.

I’m so thankful for @_incompete, who helped me keep a steady pace and encouraged me the WHOLE way. If I’m being completely honest, everything after mile 7 was hard, but praising God through the pain really helped.

Now that we’ve completed the Fairytale Challenge for the Princess Half Marathon (10K & Half Marathon + a 5K just for fun), here are some @rundisney tips and our thoughts:

🏅I don’t know if I’ll (Bryanna) do another half soon, but if we do, we will train for it

🏅It’s so important to get rest after the races - don’t feel obligated to go to the Parks if you’d rather recover for most of the day (we chose to have a nap every day and went out for an early dinner)

🏅Remember running etiquette, walk to the right, run to the left

🏅Have a “why”, a reason for running - our goal was a lifestyle change and we really think we’ll be running a lot more now

🏅We finally get the runDisney hype - if you’re a new runner / walker, put a 5K on your bucket list just to experience it. Once you do it, you’ll understand too!

@disneyd23 weekend is here and I have tips for first-timers 💙

✨ Review EVERYTHING, read instructions, especially when it comes to virtual queues, panel start times etc.

✨ If you’re able, take some snacks and water. Those food lines were wild (confirm it’s not against convention center rules)

✨ Make friends in line and don’t be afraid to ask for pictures, especially if you’re solo

✨ Be prepared to see some AMAZING costumes! If you didn’t dress up, it’s completely okay - I went with ease for my first time and I’m so happy I did

✨ Be nice to the vendors/people working the booths, they’re working to make your experience special

@rundisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend 2026 ✨

It’s medal Monday! This year, I ran a 10k and half marathon all in one weekend completing the Fairytale Challenge - that’s 19.3 miles!

Was it hard? Yes. Was it perfect? No. Did I do it anyway? Absolutely.

This is for the person who’s always wanted to get into long distance running, but had that negative voice in the back of their mind saying “you’re not a runner” - that’s a lie.

You can do whatever you set your mind to do. So start and don’t quit, I’m rooting for you ❤️✨

This year‘s @waltdisneyworld Jollywood Nights was one for the books!

2024 is the 2nd year this event took place in Hollywood Studios and I’d say Disney really stepped it up in comparison to 2023. This is a night of celebrating Christmastime in old-Hollywood fashion. There are tons of shows, special characters, specialty food items, and so much more!

If you love to dress up, enjoy low ride wait times, and want to have more of a dapper evening in the parks – this is the event for you ✨. Here’s hoping the event will come back in 2025 (🤞🏾)! Have you been, if so, what did you think?
