Thank you, everyone, for all the kindness that you’ve shown me throughout my four years here. Thank you for giving me the space and support I needed to grow into the person I am today. Thank you for giving me the privilege to watch you grow and grow alongside of you. I love all of you so much. Okay Julie being an absolute sap time:

I am so, so indescribably proud of all of you. The growth you’ve all shown is astounding to me, and it’s still hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that I was lucky enough to witness that.

To my juniors, as Mr Landoll would say, carry this feeling, because you deserve every moment of it. Take the moments that made this season this season and use those to shape the person you are. Become your version of the person who helped you get here, and treat everyone with the love that both they and you deserve.

To my fellow seniors, thank you for letting me be a part of your world. It has been a genuine honor to grow with you and watch you all become the people you are now. Thank you for forgiving my faults and sticking with me, both now and in my memory. I hope I was a good enough friend to stick with you, too.

I genuinely cannot describe how proud of this band I am, or how much I wish I could stay for just one more year. Be kind to yourself and each other, and take pride in where you’ve gotten. Thank you for letting me be your drum major. I love you all.
