Understanding someone’s experience can help you see them with compassion.

It can also leave you with questions about what that means for your boundaries, your decisions, and the relationship.

Let’s talk about empathy—and what it does and doesn’t require of you.

What stood out to you in this conversation?

You don’t have to hate who you used to be to grow.

You don’t have to prove yourself to everyone, expect yourself to change overnight, or make everyone accept who you’re becoming.

Give yourself room to walk out what God is doing in your life.

Which part of this conversation did you need today?

Be sure to follow @beinspiredwithjas for more!

I couldn’t close this chapter without being thoughtful about who would share this final stage with me. 🖤

As I prepared for Night of Inspiration: The Last Night — Seasons Don’t Last Forever, I wanted this lineup to reflect what this journey has meant to me.

You’ll see people who have been part of it over the years, along with a younger generation whose gifts I’m excited for you to experience. Having them together for this final night means so much.

And yes, Psalmist Raine will be joining us as our special guest vocalist! I’m looking forward to worshipping with you and preparing our hearts for what God has next. 🙌🏽

Swipe through to meet the lineup. I’m grateful for every person who said yes to being part of this night, and I would love for you to be there, too.

Come celebrate with us as we close this chapter and look forward to a new one.

Maturity changed the way I understood being good to people.

I can care about you without agreeing to everything.

I can disappoint you without doing something wrong.

And I can make a decision for my life without getting everyone’s permission first.

What’s something you stopped doing when you started growing?

I’ve learned that beauty isn’t reserved for the seasons when everything is going right.

There’s beauty in the becoming. Beauty in the waiting. Beauty in the lessons, the unexpected turns, and even the moments that stretch us beyond what we thought we could handle.

Sometimes we’re so focused on what isn’t going right that we overlook what’s still beautiful about our lives.

And no, everything isn’t always beautiful. Some things are painful, disappointing, and downright hard. But that doesn’t mean beauty can’t exist in the midst of it all.

Don’t get so caught up waiting for life to look a certain way that you miss the beauty that’s already there. 🤍 by @beinspiredwithjas
