هذه ليست دعوة إلى حفل توقيع كتابي؛ فتفاصيل التوقيع تجدونها في الشريحة الثانية.

هذه دعوة إلى كلّ من يرغب في أن يعرفني أكثر—أو أن يكتشف من أكون، ومن قد أكون.

الصور التي أشاركها هنا ليست سوى لمحات صغيرة، وهي بالضبط ما يتحدّث عنه هذا الكتاب. فمن عنوانه، «عشرة على عشرة»، تبدأ حكاية السنوات العشر الأخيرة من حياتي:

كيف عشت؟
ماذا فعلت؟
كيف نظرت إلى الحياة؟
ماذا أنجزت، وفي ماذا أخفقت؟
ماذا حاولت، وبماذا حلمت؟
ما الذي استطعت تحقيقه، وما الذي خسرته في الطريق؟

إنها حكاية الأثمان التي دُفعت، والليالي التي مرّت بلا نوم، والأيام التي عشتها في أحلام اليقظة، واللحظات الجميلة التي تقاسمتها مع البشر، والنباتات، والأشجار، والطبيعة، والحيوانات، والكلمات، والحواسيب، والتكنولوجيا… ومع كلّ ما عبر حياتي وترك أثرًا فيها.

هذه دعوة لتقتربوا منّي قليلًا، ولتشاركوني استقبال طفل عزيز وُلد من قلبي، ومن جوارحي، ومن ضربات قلمي.

فإذا أردتم أن تلمحوا شيئًا منّي بين صفحاته، كونوا هناك.

This is not an invitation to my book signing; you will find all the signing details on the second slide.

This is an invitation to anyone who would like to know me more deeply—to discover who I am, or perhaps who I might be.

The photographs I am sharing here offer only a few glimpses, yet they capture exactly what this book is about. Its title, “Ten out of Ten,” opens the door to the story of the last ten years of my life:

How did I live?
What did I do?
How did I see life?
What did I accomplish, and where did I fail?
What did I attempt, and what did I dream of?
What was I able to achieve—and what did I lose along the way?

It is a story of the prices paid, the sleepless nights, the days spent daydreaming, and the beautiful moments I shared with people, plants, trees, nature, animals, words, laptops, technology—and everything else that passed through my life and left its mark.

This is an invitation to come a little closer and to join me in welcoming a dear child—one born from my heart, my limbs, and every stroke of my pen.

So, if you would like to catch a glimpse of me between its pages, please be there.

كَانَ يُمْكِنُ لِهٰذَا الوَرَقِ
أَنْ يَكُونَ مُعْوَجًّا أَكْثَرَ..
كَانَ يُمْكِنُ لِهٰذَا الأَرَقِ
أَنْ يَخْسَرَ..

كَانَ يُمْكِنُ لِلْحَرْفِ أَنْ يُطِيعَ المَسَام
أَنْ يَنْحَنِيَ مَعَ الخَاصِرَةِ.

كَانَ يُمْكِنُ أَنْ نُعْدِمَ المَسَافَةَ
بَيْنَ وَهْمِ الثُّرَيَّا وَتَجْسِيدِ الثَّرَى
كَانَ يُمْكِنُ أَنْ نَزِيدَ الكَثَافَةَ
أَنْ نَجْتَرِحَ مُعْجِزَاتٍ:
كَسِيحٌ يَمْشِي، وَضَرِير يَرَى

كَانَ يُمْكِنُ.. أَنْ أُخَالِفَ القَوَاعِدَ:
دُونَ أَنْ أَسْتَأْذِنَ النَّادِلَةَ
أَرْفَعُ مَكْسُورًا.. أَجْزِمُ مُسْتَقْبَلًا
أُحَرِّكُ عَقْلًا.. أَوْ أَخْتِمَ بِفَاصِلَة

كَانَ يُمْكِنُ لِي أَلا أَسْمَعَ
أَوْ أَلَّا أُصْغِيَ لِأَحَادِيثِ الطَّاوِلَة..
وَأَلَّا أَتَلَهَّى بِأَقْدَاحِ الشَّرَابِ..
وَالنَّظَرَاتِ القَاتِلَة..

كَانَ يُمْكِنُ أَلَّا تَأْتِيَ صَدِيقَتِي..
وَلَا رَفِيقَتُهَا..
وَيَبْقَى طَيْفُكِ..
