Millie's reaction when her Snow Fairy letter arrived nearly broke me (in the best way). The gasp. The hugs. Kisses pressed right onto the page like she was hugging the fairies themselves.

I sat there watching this little human fully, completely believe — and honestly, that's the whole point of these letters. It's not just paper and glitter, it's a moment. A real, tangible piece of magic landing in their hands.

It's not just another sensory play set up, potion day or fizzy adventure... It's a little girl in her happy place letting her imagination go wild!

A tea party with the fairies was the theme of the day! And what you and I (and the camera) may not see is that tiny fairy friend in her little hand! It's so real for her! A gentle cuddle, a kiss and a pat. Then the fairy gets carefully placed on the table near her @littleexplorersbox Fairy Cottage Cup & Saucer ready to watch the magic happen!

These moments make it all worthwhile and I will treasure these memories forever 🧚‍♀️💖

Is it just me or does anyone else still have their Easter decorations up?! 🙊

It's just me isn't it?! 😂 Is it also just me that has an Easter tree with Easter decorations?! 😂 Please tell me I'm not alone here!!!! Haha!

I refuse to apologise... We love Easter! I wish I know about these gorgeous crates from @pinkkoalacreations before now though! But today we got to play dress ups and have a pretend Easter and imagine all the goodies we wish the Easter bunny had delivered 🐇 🤍

Lately my feed has been full of conversations about competition "losing customers" to another business in the same niche and a whole lot of negativity.

But I'd love to offer a different perspective.

When one of my customers shops at Kmart, Big W, Target or Amazon, I don't take it personally.

So why should I feel differently if they choose another small business?

To me, every time someone chooses to spend their money with a small business instead of a huge corporation, that's worth celebrating.

Every purchase helps a real person, a real family and a dream that someone has worked incredibly hard to build.

The truth is, none of us can be everything to everyone. We all bring something different—our own creativity, personality and way of serving our customers.

Imagine how much stronger our small business community could become if we spent less energy worrying about who our customers also support, and more energy encouraging people to shop small, wherever they can.

Because the real goal isn't for one small business to beat another.

It's for more people to choose small businesses in the first place.

Let's keep lifting each other up. There's room for all of us. 🤍

Bringing the magic indoors over the cooler months with @happymagicplay 🤩 This gorgeous little bonus activity pack is the perfect way to wind down from a day of fairy play! Millie coloured it in and brought it to the post office to give to the lady there! I think we made her day, unfortunately it meant I didn't get an after photo 😢 but we made someone's day and enjoyed a nice calm activity so I'll call it a win!

Someone is just about grown out of her favorite "hoppy" dress from @dalabri_handmade 😨 Good thing we have a few more on the way 😉

✨ We have officially achieved slime perfection! 🧚‍♀️🔮

If you know my tween, then you'll know we have tried so many DIY slime recipes in the past, and they usually end up a sticky, melted disaster. 🙈 But Millie took matters into her own hands today and made her own "Fairy Slime" completely by herself—and it worked perfectly on the very first try! Truly the best DIY slime we have ever done. 🙌

She mixed the DIY Slime Kit from @the.messy.place with some gorgeous Bio Glitter from @happymagicplay to give it that ultimate magical fairy sparkle. ✨

The best part? She managed to keep her beautiful dress completely clean and slime-free thanks to her new Fairy Garden Apron (also from @happymagicplay)! 🌸👗

Highly recommend this combo if you want all the fun of messy play without the laundry nightmare 💖

It's never too early to start prepping for Christmas 🎄🎁 It's such a magical time of year, especially when you have little ones with big imaginations!

This year we will be avoiding the crowds at the shops and getting our shopping done early at some of our favourite small businesses! To the big department stores you're just another customer to a tired and stressed Christmas causal staff member but to a small business owner and creator you are the reason they do what they do! Your order will be loved and cherished and appreciated more than you could ever imagine.

So yeah, maybe it's a little early. But with gifts this beautiful, products this quality and packed with so much love and genuine excitement, it's never too soon to make the decision to support a small business this year!
