sa softball, when i say goodbye to you, i say goodbye to every mistake, every bad practice, and every bad game. but i’ll hold on to the good days for a lifetime.

sa softball you’ve made me grow into the best player i could be. you gave me coaches and teammates that pushed me beyond the limits i set for myself. for my coaches and my friends, i am forever grateful. you guys are my family.

i will forever learn every lesson and every trick to this game until the days run out. i have learned to fall in love with the process of becoming a great teammate, and what it takes to be great player. i will always wish i didn’t take this for granted, but i did. i blinked and it was my first sectional game against east side. i blinked twice and it was the morning of regionals my senior year. i then took a deep breath and it was suddenly my first at bat in what could possibly be my last game. and then all the sudden it was my last game as a south adams starfire.
