2020 shook my faith more than I ever expected.

I had questions about God.
About the Church.
About what I actually believed and why.

And like many people, I found myself leaning into what people now call deconstruction.

But in 2024, that process looked different for me.

It wasn’t about walking away.
It became about going deeper.

That’s where Lead Well came in.

What I thought would just be a 2 year leadership program became the very place God used to ground me in truth.

To challenge what I thought I knew.
To teach me how to actually read and understand Scripture.
To rebuild my faith on something solid.

Not opinions.
Not trends.
Not what I heard online.

Truth.

This wasn’t just a graduation.
It marks the end of a season where my questions didn’t break my faith…

they strengthened it.

And the beginning of a faith that is more rooted, more intentional, and more anchored in truth than ever before.

President of overcommitting to things checking in 🫡

We love to say we need more discipline, but sometimes it’s not that at all. Sometimes we just said yes too much

I had to be honest with myself about what I can actually sustain. Not what sounds good. Not what looks productive. What I can truly follow through on!

It’s looked like doing less, resting when I need to, and being more honest with what I can commit to 🙃 Also taking time to ask God what actually needs my yes in this season and what doesn’t.

Consistency hits different when you are moving with clarity instead of pressure.

Guess who’s back? 👀 CEO Chats are back and this one hit me a little harder than I expected.

There’s a moment after you fall off where you can either spiral… or actually pay attention.

Because inconsistency is frustrating, yes.
But it is also information.

Information about what is not as strong as you thought.
Information about what you can actually sustain.
Information about what needs to change.

Most of us skip that part and go straight to feeling bad.

This one is more about what happens when you don’t.

Building something meaningful will stretch you in ways you did not expect.

Not just creatively. Not just spiritually. But practically too.

One of the things I’m learning as I build @arose.inbloom is that vision requires stewardship. Faith is part of the process, but so is wisdom, discipline, planning, and sometimes the humility to invite others into what you’re building.

And honestly, that part can feel uncomfortable as a founder.

But watching God provide while learning how to steward the vision well has been one of the most encouraging parts of this journey 🥹

REAL leadership is focusing on the race you were called to run.

Not the race happening next to you.

Some friendships are answers to prayers you didn’t know how to pray yet.

Maddie is one of those for me. She stood beside me in the early days of @aroseinbloompod , when the vision was fragile, the faith was stretched, and obedience mattered more than confidence. To now stand beside her as she launches and creates her first short under @naakoshproductions feels incredibly full circle and such an honor.

What people won’t always see or understand is how hard she’s worked for this. The quiet discipline. The unseen sacrifices. The persistence when it would’ve been easier to stop. This didn’t happen overnight, and it definitely didn’t happen by accident.

This is what it looks like to grow together, to cheer loudly in different seasons, and to trust God with the timing of it all. Community multiplies courage. It reminds you that you’re not building alone and that what God planted in you matters.

I am so incredibly proud of you, Maddi. So excited for this first film (of many), and even more excited for the world to witness what God is doing through you.

Coming back to myself 🥹

The last few weeks have been slower, lighter, and honestly really good for my soul y’all.

More presence in community and church, more laughter, more room to breathe

I read and reread books that reminded me who I am
I sat with vision again without rushing it or forcing the next step

I created alongside friends, learned as I went, and finally said yes to something new 👀

This season hasn’t been about doing everything
It’s been about doing what feels right and moving at a pace that feels healthy

LIFE DUMP

1-3. I miss NYC with Arnell and Imo 😭 (we didn’t partake in said casa ooo we just liked the bar please ✋🏾)

4-6. Colorado missions trip CHANGED my life. I gotta do a post for just that. Just know God uses everything and He loves you IMMENSELY!!

7. ANCIENT OF DAYS AS OLD AS YOU ARE 🎶

8-9. My friends really inspire me. They push me to be better and I’m grateful.

10-12. Helping my one of my best mates get married was everything. Vibes were immaculate. Also reminded me that we’re growing up fr 😭

13-15. Moved into a new spot. What a blessing it is to have friends come pray me into a new season of life. This is what community looks like 🤍

17-18.I started dating again this year after three years, and chale… I think I’m about to take myself out the pool again 🙃
