CSW 2026

I had a blast at the creative string workshop this year. I learned so much about cello playing and improvisation. It was a pleasure to spend this week meeting and jamming with so many wonderful people and string players!

I’d recommend this camp to any string player interested in learning how to improvise, play jazz, play bluegrass, or learn about extended techniques that aren’t commonly taught in music school. I am also extremely thankful to be the recipient of the Steve Mandell Memorial Music Scholarship which gave me the funding to attend this week. taken in Black Mountain, North Carolina by @belaktyler

Another semester of music school done! I am very thankful for all the lovely people I get to collaborate with to make music. This post is a lot of the playing I’ve been doing this semester in and outside of SRU. Looking forward to lots of more cello playing in the future! by @belaktyler
