A week ago I fulfilled my childhood dream of being absolutely schooled by grandma Gener in class, grace and style for the premiere of a film full of talented, beautiful people telling a very important story.
This was a very special moment (that she hated) and I will forever cherish

A few years ago I found Ümit’s shop and all it’s magic. It quickly became a sanctuary, a place of pure nostalgic joy and a reminder of why film is so important for so many people around the world.

@liamsaintpierre has captured all of that in “The Last Picture Shop”, where I briefly have the honour of play Ümit’s daughter.

Independent film is in dire need of help, and I strongly believe the world is in dire need of people as pure, non cynical and passionate as Ümit and Liam.
