Last week I hosted ALTER EGO MASK WORKSHOP for @adobeuk London Community and it was such a blast! 💥 We explored our shadow side to turn our alter egos into these incredible masks. Every single one had its own character and personality. Still obsessed with what everyone created! Thank you @before_its2late for taking pictures and @adobelive for having me! #AdobeCreativeClub #Adobe #CreativeWorkshop #CollageArt by @belenchuk

Playing with animating my colourful paper portraits by @belenchuk
Nobody at the party guessed who we’re this year for Halloween. I’m shocked! To me it’s quite obvious. Any guesses?🕹️🐧🧀🐶 by @belenchuk
come with me to an @adobeuk Creative Club workshop 🩷 the workshop was all about creating our alter egos through mask-making, hosted by the super talented @belenchuk 🫶 we started by creating portraits of each other with a partner so here’s mine and @untepid attempt 🤭 we had to portray our best qualities and Ana’s was that she’s funny. for mine, I said that I’m a little awkward… you might think that’s a strange quality to choose but i honestly think it’s what makes me, me! especially in social situations like attending events like this which i’m defo trying to work on🫣 it felt quite nice to acknowledge it rather than see it as something i needed to hide! then it was time to get stuck into making our alter ego masks using paper, card and lots of glue! as a graphic designer, I spend sooo much time creating things on a screen, so it was so refreshing to get hands-on and make something without overthinking every little detail. we even got to have our pictures taken by the amazing photographer @before_its2late afterwards which was such a fun way to capture everyone’s creations 📸 and ofc i couldn’t leave without getting my hands on some @adobe merch and goodies too hehe 🤭 another lovely evening spent meeting new people, trying something new and reminding myself why i looooove being a creative! already looking forward to the next one 🫶 @byklaro 🤍 #adobecreativeclub #adobecommunity #creativeworkshop #graphicdesign #adobeuk by @belenchuk

I think it should be a crime to have your sketchbook with a blank cover! Hehe Also, I feel like I’m not making enough art lately, so I’m challenging myself to create 100 portraits of absolutely anything I want and will be pushing myself to experiment with animation. This is Number 1 #100portraits_belenchuk by @belenchuk

Today we had our monthly online meeting and it was so special. @belenchuk joined us to talk about her work, her experience with collage, her inspirations and also her vulnerabilities. After that, we collaged portraits of celebrities and it was so much fun! ✂️ Thank you again @belenchuk for such a great morning creating together, for your generosity and for being an inspiration too. 💕 And thank you to each member of the club for keeping this community so alive. Sometimes being an artist can be very lonely and overwhelming, but moments like this one make it all worth it. 🫂❤️ Join the club and come have fun too! 👇🏻 ✨ patreon.com/margaridasampaio ✨ . #collage #cutouts #collageclub #cutoutsclub #collageartwork by @belenchuk
Our October meeting will happen on the 24th and I am thrilled to share that artist @belenchuk will be with us this month. 🤩 Polina is a mixed-media artist based in London, and most of her work is done with collage, using vibrant colours and cut-out elements. ✨ Her presence will be pretty special, as she does a lot of portraits, which is this month’s theme. She’ll share a bit of her work with us and then we’ll all make an exercise together. It’ll be fun! ✂️ If you want to participate too, make sure you join the club in the meantime. 😌 by @belenchuk
