This postcard of an apple face has been sitting on my desk for over six months, hoping we could bring this fantastic show to Coonawarra Fringe.

DA DA ANNOUNCMENT🎉

We’re SO excited to present “An Evening with Dame Granny Smith” at Coonawarra Fringe February 2027

Recently returned from international touring and receiving rave 5-star reviews, it was also one of the best shows we saw at Adelaide Fringe this year — hilarious, clever, heartfelt and so so brilliant.

We’ve been waiting to share this one… and now we finally can!

What a massive week, 6 shows with over 800 tickets sold at Coonawarra Fringe not bad in a town of 40.

It was full of sunshine, laughter, music, wine, beautiful food, wineries, winemakers, new friends, neighbours, loads of kids and importantly so much love.

What you don’t see, and shouldn’t,
is the sheer hard work, setups and pull downs, run sheets and logistics, the sound checks and woopsies, paperwork and budgets, the things you can’t possibly plan for, the contracts, endless lists, running and heavy lifting, literally, sometimes through tears.

Thankyou Deborah Guerin Redman for without you this festival would not be possible, thanks Mal Redman and Andrew Coombe our support crew.
Thanks to our venues Raidis Estate, Penola Primary School,Redman Wines DiGiorgio Family Wines , Coonawarra Community Club and Zema Estate Wines, and all the people
who lent a hand, you all played an important part.
Thanks for the ongoing support RAA South Australian Tourism Commission and Adelaide Fringe

What a phenomenal weekend, marked by the joyous arrival of Sunday Rouge to Laura and Josh, and Andrew's impressive accomplishment in The World Gran Fondo. The new addition, Sunday, is a precious blessing, and Andrew Coombe's determination is a shining example of human potential even for an oldish…man❤️ by @belindajredman

Ayers House Fringe is more than just a beautiful venue; it also hosts various Adelaide Fringe performances, features a fully stocked bar, and provides much-needed air conditioning during this scorching weekend.
Might see you there
