Why do I love God? 🤍

Not because every season has been easy.

Not because every prayer has been answered the way I wanted.

Not because I’ve always understood what He was doing.

I love Him because through every version of my story, He has remained faithful.

He loved me when I didn’t know how to love myself.

He pursued me when I wandered.

He restored what I thought was broken beyond repair.

He gave purpose to places I once wished I could erase.

He reminded me that I am His daughter.

And season after season, He has proven that His presence is better than anything this world could ever give me.

Yes, the Maldives was breathtaking. 🏝️

The crystal waters.
Sipping coffee during sunrise.
The breathtaking sunsets.
The beauty of His creation.

But the greatest gift will always be knowing my Creator.

So when you ask me why I love God…

I could give you a hundred reasons.

But maybe the simplest one is this:

Because I’ve lived enough life to know who I am without Him…and I never want to build, become, or live apart from Him, ever.

Everything flows from here.

My marriage.
My family.
My ministry.
My purpose.
My business.
My next season.

Rooted in Him. Always.

“Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You.” ~Psalm 63:3

Con mucha alegría recibimos a Belisa Pérez, pastora asociada ordenada, predicadora, mentora y líder de mujeres, con más de 20 años sirviendo en el ministerio.

Sometimes you have to be dragged into the next season. 😂🤎

Okay… in this case, I was just refusing to leave the Maldives. 😂🏝️

But watching this video (that I’ve been holding off from posting) made me think about how easy it is to want to hold onto a season simply because it was good.

We pray for God to do a new thing…

until the new thing requires us to release something we loved.

A place.
A rhythm.
A version of ourselves.
A way of doing business.
A strategy that worked before.
A season that was comfortable.

But just because a season was good doesn’t mean God is asking you to stay there.

As we close out September and step into a new season, I’m reminded that being rooted doesn’t mean remaining in the same place.

It means being rooted deeply enough in God that when He says move, you can move.

When He says build differently, you can build differently.

When He says release, you can release.

And when He gives you fresh direction, you trust Him enough to follow…even when you don’t have every detail figured out yet.

So here’s to the next season. 🍂

Deeper roots.
Fresh direction.
Greater obedience.
And the courage to move when God says move.

And, for the record…

I still think He could’ve called me into my next season from the Maldives. 😂🏝️🤎

The season is changing—and maybe the way you build needs to change too. 🍂🌱

As we close out September and step into a new season, don’t automatically rush into the next goal, strategy, launch, or thing you think you should be doing.

Get rooted first.

Because what worked in your last season may not be what God is asking of you in this one.

This may be the season you simplify.

The season you become visible again.

The season you finally launch what God has been showing you.

The season you stop second-guessing your gifts.

The season you stop building from pressure and start building from alignment.

Kingdom woman, you’re not starting from nothing.

You’re entering this season carrying everything God has been developing in you…the wisdom, the lessons, the gifts, the experiences, and the vision.

Now it’s time to steward it.

Identity before income.
His voice before strategy.
Purpose before profit.
Obedience before acceleration.

New season.
Deeper roots.
Clearer vision.
Greater obedience.

And from that place, we build. 🤎

One of the things we’ve said to each other most over the last 20 years is:

“We’ll figure it out.”

Not because we always had a plan.

But because we knew and trusted the One who did.

We’ve said it verbally but sometimes we’ve said it through a hug, or by looking deeply into each others eyes… through unexpected turns, difficult decisions, big dreams, moments of uncertainty, and seasons that stretched us in ways we never imagined.

Sometimes “we’ll figure it out” meant praying before making a decision.

Sometimes it meant taking one faithful step at a time.

Sometimes it meant letting go of our own plans and trusting God’s.

Looking back, I realize we were never really saying, “We’ll figure it out on our own.”

What we were really saying was…

“God has been faithful before, and He’ll be faithful again.”

This trip gave us the gift of slowing down long enough to remember.

Not just the beautiful places around the world we’ve seen, but the beautiful story God has been writing all along.

Twenty years later, I still wouldn’t want to figure it out with anyone else.

Grateful that we’ve chosen each other over and over again.

Thankful that we’ve led each other with humility, loving with consistency, and pointing our family toward Christ through every season.

Here’s to every “we’ll figure it out” that brought us here…and to every one that’s still ahead. 🤍

One of the most challenging questions I heard recently was:

“Have you become comfortable in a place that was only meant to be temporary?”

Whew. 😳

Truth is… sometimes we stay in places that are familiar because they’re predictable.

We stay in old mindsets.
 Old excuses. Old levels. Old limitations.

Not because they’re good.
But because they’re familiar.
We get used to them.
Because we’re comfortable.

Yet God is constantly calling His daughters forward.

Yes… YOU! 👑

There is land with your name on it.
 People attached to your obedience.
 And there’s impact connected to your ‘YES’!

So don’t settle where God intended you to pass through. Don’t let comfort become your Egypt.

That’s it, sis. The season served its purpose.

Now it’s time to move. 🔥

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t planning to flood your feed with Maldives content. 😂

Here’s my problem…

I came home with 1,500+ photos and videos… and now I’m so overwhelmed that I haven’t posted almost any of them lol 🙈

Anyone else spend so much time making memories that editing them feels like a full-time job?

So consider this my official announcement: the Maldives content is coming… eventually, and maybe sporadically! Because, why not! 😂

Until then, I’m choosing progress over perfection and pressing “post” anyway.

Who’s with me? Are you a post everything right away person, or do you end up with hundreds (or thousands 😅) of memories sitting in your camera roll too? 📸🏝️

Forty-seven. 👑

Not because my life has been perfect…

But because God has been faithful to me.

This birthday felt different.

Not because of the number, but because of the woman I am standing in it.

I’ve lived enough to know healing isn’t always instant.
Growth takes surrender.
Purpose is cultivated.
And God’s timing has always been better than mine.

This past year has stretched me in beautiful ways.

I’ve watched The Lord deepen my faith, refine my voice, expand my vision, and remind me over and over that obedience is always worth it.

I’m walking into this new year with less striving… more confidence.

Less proving…
more trusting.

Less pressure…
more partnership with God.

If these 47 years have taught me anything, it’s this:

The safest place to be is exactly where God has called you.

I’m incredibly grateful for every lesson, every answered prayer, every closed door, every open one, and every person who’s been part of this journey.

Here’s to another year of becoming everything He created me to be.

Thank You, Jesus. 🤍

I’ve learned that building with God can often looks slower than building in your own strength.

But also, I know that what God builds lasts.

In a world obsessed with shortcuts, quick wins, and overnight success, God is still inviting His daughters into partnership.

Not to strive.
Not to force anything.
And definitely, Not manipulating.

It’s… Partnering with Him.

This looks like:

Praying before posting.
Listening before launching.
Obeying before seeing results.

And Sis… listen sis, listen.

Kingdom business isn’t about getting God to bless your plans.

It’s about stewarding His plans.

When you partner with God…

Peace becomes your pace.
Obedience becomes your strategy.
And fruit is the result.

Build with Him. 👑

He knows where He’s taking you.

This season has been so full that I’ve found myself living it more than posting it.

Some moments deserve to be experienced before they’re shared… and this was one of them.

A few weeks ago, Ernie and I graduated from our second year of School of Ministry. 🎓

It was super special because it also happened to be my birthday! 🎂

After over 20 years of serving in ministry, we still believe there’s always more to learn, more to surrender, and more room for God to shape us.

You see… growth doesn’t stop when you receive a title. It continues every time you choose to remain teachable.

These past two years stretched us, challenged us, strengthened us, and reminded us that God is far more interested in who we’re becoming than what we’re building.

One of the greatest gifts has been walking this journey side by side. Studying together. Praying together. Growing together.

We didn’t graduate because we arrived.

We’ve simply said “yes” again to whatever God has next.

May we never become so experienced that we stop being students of His presence.

Here’s to becoming. 🤍

One of the biggest things God reminded me recently is this:

Many women are waiting for confirmation when God is waiting for obedience.

You see… You’re asking five people what God already told you in prayer.

You’re polling the crowd while Heaven is waiting for YOUR YES.

Moses had clarity because he listened to God first.

The more secure you become in God’s voice, the less dependent you’ll become on people’s opinions.

Your assignment doesn’t need everyone’s approval.

And your obedience is what gives you authority.

Partner with God.
Take the next step.
Trust what He’s already spoken.

Keep in mind, the women who build legacy are not the women who know everything.

They’re the women who trust God enough to MOVE.
