some weeks just feel a little more special than others, and this was certainly one of them. while my riding wasn’t as consistent as I would have liked, my horses exceeded every single expectation— a true testament to the incredible team behind us who work tirelessly to ensure that we step into the ring with the best possible chance to succeed. lucky me♥️ by @bell.equ

The POPPI is designed to feel as good as it looks. Indoors 2026… 🤍

Competing at indoors has been a childhood dream of mine. I grew up watching medal finals and hunter championships, imagining one day it would be me. But after aging out of the juniors, I thought that chance had passed me by.

The past year and a half has been one of the most challenging, humbling, and transformative seasons of my life. Getting sober meant taking a hard look at myself, and who I wanted to become. I questioned whether I’d find my way back to the things I loved, let alone the dreams I once had. This year has been about realizing that just because something hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it never will.

And then came Biggie. I knew he had the heart and brain to get us to indoors and be competitive. Capital Challenge brought a top ten finish and a few rider mistakes to learn from.

I went into Harrisburg feeling cautiously optimistic, but I never could have imagined how well things would go. Top five finishes in every Amateur Owner 18–35 class, and a top ten finish in the overall 3’6” Amateur Owner Championship round.

Biggie made a childhood dream come true, and I couldn’t imagine experiencing any of this with another horse. He’s given me so much more than ribbons. He’s given me the opportunity to accomplish something I thought was no longer possible.

To @espfarm, thank you for giving us a home and family this month and making sure we walked into arguably the biggest ring we’ve competed in yet prepared, confident, and with the best chance at success.

To @shadowpondstables, thank you for preparing us for this adventure, the pep talks, and keeping Biggie at his best mentally and physically. The best team 🤍

To my mom, thank you for standing by me through every high and low, never giving up on me, and making this dream a reality.

And to my friends who cheered me on and reminded me that I was capable, even when I doubted myself, thank you. Having people who believe in me and want to see me succeed means more than you know.

Above all, glory to God. I can see His hand in every part of this story.

To the little girl who dreamed of indoors and the version of me who thought that dream had passed, this means everything. 🤍 by @bell.equ
