Surrounded by love, blessed by grace!! Being baptized and feeling God’s presence today has been life changing. And I want to take this opportunity to share my testimony.

I didn’t grow up in church, and for a long time I didn’t really know much about God. I just lived my life the best I could not really thinking about faith or what it meant. But even then there was this small empty space something I didn’t know yet.

This feeling only ever grew. I was constantly comparing myself to everyone. I made choices that didn’t feel like me. I stayed around people who pulled me in the wrong direction. And somewhere in all of that I lost the girl I wanted to be. I didn’t like my body or my personality, and I felt so far from who I hoped I was becoming. All of this led me to start a horrible habit of self harm. I thought that if I could just feel enough pain, it would make me change. But even in that darkness, God was already working.

The softest part of my story is that God met me there. Right in the middle of everything I didn’t talk about. Not when I was perfect, but when I was quietly breaking.

Psalm 139 says how God knows us completely and that’s exactly how it felt like. He saw every insecure thought, every tear, and every moment I hid. And instead of turning away He came closer.

When I finally let Him in, it wasn’t dramatic. It was a feeling of relief. A peace I had never felt before, like God reminding me i’m loved, safe, and His.

Accepting Christ didn’t make everything suddenly perfect but it softened the hurting parts of me. It helped me see myself the way He sees me chosen, forgiven, and worth loving. I realized I didn’t have to be perfect to belong to Him.

God took me, who felt lost and filled me with peace, purpose, and a love that feels steady and real. I’m still growing. I’m still learning. But I know that He never let go of me even when I didn’t know Him, He knew me. taken in Church of the King by @bella.krumm
