A series of almost the same photo of our very happy rescue ❤️

I’m beyond happy that Mango was rescued from the previous people who had her (I’m not calling them owners because they were far from good to her).

I’m delighted that she has a loving home with us and is able to experience unconditional love, fun, comfort, warmth, safety and much much more.

It breaks my heart thinking of what she went through in the past and thinking of many other dogs who have had difficult lives, especially those that continue to have difficult lives without being found.

If you have room in your life for a rescue please please strongly consider adopting one. They are the most loving and gentle pets anyone could have.
Please do not be discouraged if they are very shy and scared. It takes 3months before a dog trusts you (sometimes longer, sometimes shorter). They will begin to settle and show their fun and loving character ❤️.

One of the volunteers at the shelter where we got Mango from said ‘you are very good taking one of the timid ones, people never want to’. And this blew my mind!
Without a doubt I would take a timid dog over and over again because I know I have the patience, care and love to show them that life is great, humans are good and help them blossom into their most confident selves.

Bella got a new rescue friend mid-October, called Mango.
Mango didn’t have the best start to life with previous people.
She’s a scared baby who is coming out of her shell. Content on Mango will be limited for now. It will be a long road to recovery for Mango, but I’m looking forward to the day I can post her out and about with Bella and Bruno.
She’s received so much love, patience and care and we will continue to surround her with this.
We can’t wait to show her what being a dog is really about and how much fun she can have ❤️❤️❤️❤️ by @bella_bellacockapoo
