Today was a DAY!!!! But, I won’t let this day come to an end without sharing the BEST fun fact! ✨

On THIS day—(October 1) 1971—Walt Disney World officially opened its magical gates! 🏰✨ And for 55 years, Disney has been sprinkling a little extra magic, joy, and happiness into the lives of so many.

This video is one of my favorites because it captures the moment Graycen really started to take in all the sweet Disney magic. 🥹❤️ Those little moments—the excitement, the wonder, the pure JOY—are exactly what Disney is all about!

In a world where you can be so many things, BE KIND!

Today is Dolly Day at Graycen's school and after I told her about Dolly's kindness and how her literacy program was so impactful to so many children, my sweet girl said she wanted to be an Author and write her own book and pass out copies to all of her classmates and to her teacher!

She did just THAT! Her very first book! Her teacher let her read it to the class! 🎉📖

Go GRAYCEN!!!! OH, they say today is National Daughter Day! This girl makes me sooo proud!!

At our parent-teacher conference today, we heard so many wonderful things about Graycen. But the thing that meant the most to me wasn’t hearing about how smart she is or how social she is.

It was hearing her teacher tell us how kind and helpful she is to the other kids.

Her teacher described a moment when the kids were testing, and Graycen tried to help another little boy with his test. That is the kind of thing that makes my Mommy heart the proudest.

Because intelligence is wonderful. Having confidence is wonderful. Being social is wonderful. But having a genuinely kind heart and wanting to help others? That’s the kind of character I want Graycen to always be remembered as.

At the end of the day, I don’t just want to raise a smart daughter. I want to raise a good human. And hearing from her teacher that she’s already becoming that person means more to me than I can put into words. ❤️

Started the day with a cooking class for my girl, where she made french toast, a cream topping, and a banana puree. She had a blast! We then went to Jurassic Quest to see the dinosaurs!

I'm so proud of my dear friend! I remember meeting her family in Publix, all because of my social butterfly child who wanted to play with her son. She stepped out of her comfort zone and asked me for my phone number so our kids can stay connected. Little did she or I know at the the time where our brief connection would go. I invited her to my church and she loved it so much, that today, she was baptized! Proud of her taking the leap and getting her faith wet! Keep going So! I'm so proud of you!! 🙏🏾

God has a way of connecting people and orchestrating moments that we could never have planned ourselves. ❤️
