How many likes do you have?

Status Stackables are a set of rings in my collection inspired by social media follower counts and engagement metrics. The rings feature stackable numbers, letters, and symbols, the rings allow wearers to Eostruct their own digital status. By turning online statistics into physical adornment, the collection critiques society’s obsession with quantifying popularity and questions the authenticity of status in the age of social media.

Comment earrings

I designed these #comment earrings as response to contemporary social media culture, where communication is increasingly mediated through screens and curated online personas. The oversized speech bubble form references the visual language of messaging apps and comment sections, transforming a digital symbol into a wearable object.

I designed the earrings to be activated by the wearer, the tail of the speech bubble aligns with the wearer’s mouth, creating the illusion that words are physically emerging from the body. This positioning reinforces the connection between speech, self-expression, and digital communication, while highlighting the blurred boundary between authentic conversation and online performance.

Bleeding heart brooch
‘FLIRT’
🩸 🫀

I have designed a brooch inspired by the folklore of Lady Elizabeth Hatton, allegedly murdered in London’s jewelry district, Hatton Garden, in a courtyard called Bleeding Heart Yard. She was last seen dancing with the Spanish ambassador despite being married. Seen as flirtatious, she met a brutal death, her heart torn from her body.

Garden rake rings

I designed this his garden rake when I was given a brief of nature. I considered how nature is so aped by our interactions with it, and decided to create a piece of jewellery that encourages us to interact with nature whilst also reminding us that the interactions we have can be positive or negative.
