OUR LITTLE CATCH HAS A NAME! 🎣🤍

For so long, we’ve been calling you Baby Mitchell, but now we finally get to share the name we’ve chosen for you. 🥹

✨ JADEN RICHARD SALVATORE MITCHELL ✨

Your name isn’t just a name. It carries a story, a piece of our hearts, and the memory of some of the strongest and most meaningful people in our lives. 🤍

Jaden is in honor of Raven’s dear friend, who passed away far too young. Though his time here was cut short, his memory lives on, and we hope that carrying his name will be a beautiful way to keep a piece of him with us as our little boy grows.

Richard is in honor of Raven’s dad, a part of the family and the legacy that will be passed down to you.

Salvatore is my Poppy’s middle name, carrying a piece of my family, my roots, and someone who means so much to me.

Three names, each with a story. Each carrying love, memories, and a legacy of its own. Our little boy will carry the names of people who have shaped us, touched our lives, and shown us what strength looks like in different ways. We hope that as you grow, you’ll always know the meaning behind your name and just how much love went into choosing it. 🥹🤍

Tomorrow would’ve been your birthday🤍🕊️

I’ve been thinking about you so much, wondering what life would look like if you were still here. We heard your little heartbeat so strong one week, and the next week, it was gone. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to put into words what that kind of heartbreak feels like. One week, I had so much hope, and the next, my world was completely different.
I never got to know if you were my little boy or my little girl. I never got to see your face, hold you in my arms, or celebrate all the little milestones I dreamed about. Tomorrow should’ve been a day filled with celebrating you coming into the world.
Thank you for sending me your little brother, for giving me a reason to believe in hope again, and for reminding me that even after the deepest heartbreak, love can find its way back to us.

We got to see our little guy at his 3D/4D ultrasound today 🥹🤍

You can see his little nose, head, arms, legs AND his lil booty 😂 He was seriously just boppin’ around in there the whole time! 🥹👶🏼

I also found out I have an anterior placenta, so I probably won’t feel him moving for a little while longer — but knowing he’s in there snug, happy, and moving around like crazy makes it a little easier to wait. 🤍

Already so obsessed with you, Baby Mitchell. 🫶🏼

After heartbreak, hope found us again.

We’ve been keeping a secret that’s been eating away at us!!!

Our little rainbow is on the way. 🌈🤍

This journey has held so many emotions: grief, healing, hope, and now overwhelming joy.

While we’ll always carry the love for the baby we lost, we’re beyond grateful for the precious life growing!

Baby Mitchell is expected to arrive Easter 2027 and we already love you more than words can say.

Today is Bereaved Mother’s Day — for the mothers who carry love and loss all at once.

To the moms who never got to hold their baby, who only knew them through kicks, dreams, hope, and heartbreak… I see you. I hear you. I stand with you.

This day is for the mothers whose arms may be empty, but whose hearts are forever full. For the women who became mothers the moment they loved their baby, no matter how briefly. Your motherhood is real. Your baby mattered. Your grief matters.

Our sweet angel would’ve been 16 weeks today. 16 weeks of loving you, missing you, imagining you, and carrying you with us through every moment. Though we never got to hold you the way we wanted, you will always be a part of us. You made me a mother, and that love will never fade.

Today, I honor not only my baby, but every precious life gone too soon, and every mother learning to survive the unimaginable.

3 years with you ❤️

Not always perfect, not always easy, but always us. We’ve built a whole life together already…our place, our animals, all the chaos and love in between and I wouldn’t change a thing!

Now we’re in this new chapter trying to grow our family, and it just makes me even more excited for everything ahead of us!

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to our families with messages, prayers, and condolences. The amount of love and support we have received during this time has meant more to us than we could ever put into words.

Losing J has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to face, but it brings us comfort knowing so many people are thinking of us and keeping our baby in their hearts. Even though our time was short, the love we have for our baby will last forever.

It brings comfort and peace believing our baby is in heaven, surrounded by family and the animals we have loved and lost. J will always be loved, remembered, and celebrated. This tattoo serves as a small way for us to carry and remember them with us always.

Today is a somber one. Our sweet angel.

One week I saw your tiny heart fluttering on the screen, and this week we couldn’t find it anymore.

We don’t even know what you were — a boy or a girl — but we know you were ours. For a few short months, we got to be your mom and dad, that is something no one can ever take from us.

You were loved from the moment we knew about you, and you always will be. Even though our time together was so brief, you changed us forever.

Archie wasn’t just a dog to us — he was a whole story, a personality, a constant source of laughter and love woven into our family. He had this hilarious habit of peeing on people’s legs and bags like he was leaving his own little signature on the world. And no matter how many times we tried to keep him inside, he was always ready for his next great escape, sprinting out the door just so he could pee on every single bush in the neighborhood like he had a personal rivalry with them.

He barked at absolutely everything — people, dogs, shadows, maybe even air — even if it was ten times his size. He had no idea he was small; in his mind he was the protector of the universe. But beneath that loud, dramatic exterior was the sweetest, cuddliest soul. He loved nothing more than being held, snuggled, and loved on.

And oh, the patience this dog had with us. He let us dress him up in ridiculous outfits, tolerated our little voices pretending he could talk, and somehow managed to make every silly moment even funnier just by being himself. He truly was a character — the kind of dog whose stories will be told for the rest of our lives.

Today, we have to say goodbye to him, and it doesn’t feel fair. It doesn’t feel real. But even through the heartbreak, we’re holding onto the memories — the funny ones that made us laugh until we cried, and the tender ones where he was right there comforting us without ever needing a word. Archie gave us years of unconditional love, joy, and pure companionship. He made our days warmer, our home happier, and our family stronger.

Archie, thank you for your love, your silliness, your stubbornness, and every single memory you gave us. You will forever be a part of us, and we will miss you more than words could ever express. Till we meet again 🐾 🪽 ❤️ by @bellab015
