I’ve been thinking a lot about change lately.

How something can be necessary
and still hurt.

How you can know you’re growing
and still miss what was familiar.

I used to think the right decision
would feel certain.
That peace would mean
never looking back,
never questioning,
never grieving what I left behind.

But maybe peace is quieter than that.

Maybe it’s knowing something can hurt
without needing to run back to it.

Maybe it’s letting two things be true:
I can miss what was
and still keep moving toward what’s next.

I don’t know exactly where I’m going.
I don’t think I’m supposed to yet.

I’m just learning to trust God
with the parts I can’t see,
to let change be change,
and to stop asking it
to feel comfortable.

Some days I trust more than others.

But God has been good to me here too…

The choices we make every day shape the life we live.
Slow mornings. Hard workouts. Conversations that would be easier to avoid. Time with people you love. Showing up when it’s uncomfortable. Trusting God when the next step doesn’t make sense.
I’ve been learning that love isn’t just found in the easy moments. Freedom is found in the willingness to stay present through the hard conversations, let yourself be vulnerable (it’s uncomfortable, so give yourself grace), choose honesty over comfort, and keep showing up anyway even when every part of you feels resistant.
The older I get, the more I realize the conversations I’ve spent my life avoiding are often the ones that shape me the most.
Im choosing growth, I’m choosing to be mindful with what I watch and listen to, I’m choosing to pursue things that are out of my comfort zone. I’m not rushing but, I’m not standing still either. by @bellacondo
