07/03/25 - The day heaven gained another angel

My mom was the most beautiful woman inside and out. She had the ability to make everyone feel so loved and she could make anyone smile. Her strength was inspiring and her selflessness was immeasurable. In short terms, cancer sucks. However, you would’ve never known that because she smiled through it all and continued to show others kindness.

If you had to ask my mom what her greatest accomplishment was, it would be being our mom. She was the best mom you could ever ask for and she always went above and beyond to show Evie & I how loved we are.

Mommy - thank you for being my best friend, my role model and for teaching me so many lessons throughout your life. I miss you so much and I would give anything to have more time with you. I’m so blessed to be your daughter and I wouldn’t be who I am today without you. I pray that I can make her proud every day.

And just like that, 11 years of volleyball have come to an end. I’m forever thankful for the second family that West Liberty volleyball has given me. The girls in this program have been by my side through so many highs and lows. All the practices, games, early morning conditionings, team bondings and hotel trips brought so many memories filled with laughter. I wouldn’t be who I am without the people I’ve met the last 4 years. Thank you West Lib for allowing me to reach my dream of playing college volleyball. And a huge thank you to my support system for believing in me and helping me get to this level. Senior year was for you Mommy, I love you more. I’ll always consider the hilltop a second home 💛 by @belladart_
