I have always believed that the most beautiful moments in life are the ones that make time stand still. The ones where, for a fleeting second, the world becomes impossibly quiet and you understand that you will remember exactly how this felt for the rest of your life.

Somewhere amongst the horses and ancient valleys of Cappadocia, I had one of those moments.

I looked at the person I have travelled beside, dreamed beside and loved through this beautiful life and realised that after all the places we have been, I had already found the only place I ever truly wanted to stay.

Some loves never really leave you.
They just wait patiently for your life to circle back.

Horses were part of my world before I could walk,
every afternoon, every season, every version of me up until 18. Then life took me elsewhere and for 10 years that chapter rested. Last year, I felt the pull again. I decided it was time. Two days later, I found out 2026 is the Year of the Horse. I don’t believe in coincidence.

There’s something deeply rewarding about an 800kg animal trying to please you, offering trust, effort and connection in a way that’s entirely earned.

After a decade away, I’m home again.
