I guess I have free time to hangout now guys.

Making dance a past tense thing doesn’t feel right. I can’t even begin to comprehend the amount of hours, days, and years I’ve poured into it, and I’m grateful for every single second. Dance has shaped me into the person I am today and surrounded me with some of my favorite people and lifelong best friends.
I’m so thankful for every opportunity I’ve had at both studios, and I’m especially grateful that I got to finish my senior year with the @metropolitandance family. There truly aren’t enough words to explain how much dance has impacted my life. It has carried me through some of my hardest moments, taught me more about myself than I ever expected, and given me memories I’ll cherish forever.
To my teachers: thank you. You didn’t just teach me how to dance. You taught me confidence, resilience, and helped shape the person I want to be. To my girls, thank you for every laugh, every cry, every long rehearsal, and every memory. There’s a bond between dancers that’s impossible to explain unless you’ve lived it.
Fourteen years later, it’s hard to say goodbye to something that has been such a huge part of my life. The thought of never dancing again makes me sick, so I’m incredibly grateful to continue dancing at St. Olaf. But leaving what I’ve known and loved for the past 14 years is bittersweet.

Thank you, dance, for everything
