One thing about my family is that we are here to serve and listen to what God calls us to do, even if it may be unexplainable or unusual. I find this to be such a blessing as it has led me to see Him work in our lives and bring miracles none of us could imagine and this movie was one of them. This film brings to life a true story of a church community in Possum Trot, Texas that devoted themselves into the lives of children in foster care. This story has touched the lives of so many and will with much more as this movie makes its way to impact those who watch it. My dad has spent the past few years dedicating himself to this film as an executive producer and nothing he said about this process could do it justice. It was not until I saw the movie for myself that its commanding presence truly took form. When at the premiere I kept hearing that this isn’t just a movie but a movement and that has stuck with me because it is just that. It is a story but also a representation and it has a special place in my heart. God is so good and his love and grace radiates throughout this film. I couldn’t have imagined having a more perfect end to my swimming career with the most amazing group of people. This sport and this team will forever have an impact on my life. To be so sad about it being over only shows how special it all was and I can’t thank the Park Hill South Swim & Dive team enough for making it just that!
