My inner critic was strong within me….
It took me seeing how much I was hurting
my boyfriend by talking so much crap about
myself and putting so much pressure to lose
the weight. Because the I could finally be worthy
of his love and I could truly be happy.

It woke me up. I learned to have self compassion.
To talk gently to myself. If I wouldn’t say it to
someone I loved and cared about, then I stopped
saying it to myself.

I started feeling confident and cooking
healthy meals And found workouts that
were fun.

I realized I was becoming the me
I always wanted to be 🤗 by @bellalolacharms

Your RAS is your reticular activating system !

Have you ever heard the saying
What you focus on expands ?
Or
Energy Flows Where Attention Goes?

That’s basically it.

When I focused on becoming her
I started to be kinder to myself
Which lead to self care
Which lead me to cooking my meals
And eating healthy
And being proud of it
Then finding joyful workouts
Like Zumba

All your brain needs a push in the right direction.

I’ll be showing you how.

Your future self will thank you ! ☺️ by @bellalolacharms

My weight has been fluctuating

I weighed myself throughout the week
And I was 163.6 most of it, after my
Last weigh in. So that’s why I said 2.5 lbs

Strangest thing is I just got done my period
Shortly after my last weigh in

And after I weighed in today I got my period again.

THERE IS A THIRD WAY!

You don’t have to feel like you can’t win!

Like you either give up and love your body as is

Or

You punish it into submission
and can’t eat what you want

Sounds like a bunch of HOOEY!

And I might have rolled my eyes at
people before about it too

Before it actually worked for me!

Quickly stated

It’s about changing your identity

At its core!

That saying you can be whoever you want
want to be, is true !

In the upcoming weeks

I will show you how !

I did it and so can you !

And yes I am still on my
fitness journey

Let me lead you and we can

Do this together by @bellalolacharms

Tell me about your success so far

Let’s talk about why we eat our emotions.

Your brain is looking for comfort. Relief. A way to not feel the uncomfortable feelings.

Food = instant dopamine hit. It works.
Temporarily.

But 20 minutes later ? The feeling is still there.
Plus guilt. Plus shame. Plus physical discomfort.

So you eat again. The vicious cycle continues.

Here’s what actually works

FEELING the emotion without eating it.

I know. Sounds impossible, right? It’s not.

This tapping script helps you survey the emotion long enough for it to pass (because emotions always do — they might not feel like it, especially in the moment, but they are temporary)

You tap. You say your feelings out loud. You breathe. And the urge to eat goes away.

I used this and other self love rituals, to lose 128.6 lbs !

Not by starving myself,
or eating nasty “healthy” food
Or “fighting my cravings”

But by actually addressing the emotion
driving the eating in the first place.

Feel the feeling. Let it move through you.
Watch the urge dissolve.

You don’t need food to cope.

You just need to feel safe with your feelings.

Save this for whenever you might need it.

Comment Tapping if you’re trying this by @bellalolacharms

Hey yall

Imma keep it real with you…
This was a vulnerable post for me
I actually had a draining day
That’s why I’m posting so late.
And honestly Im new to putting myself
out here on Instagram
And social media in general

Tapping is truly helping me regulate my
Nervous system when nothing else would

And this and more fun self love rituals
helped me release the weight for good.

I’m still on my journey and would love
your support.

I’m just learning all the tech
And trends
And I’m so hopeful that the right women
Will find my page.

And yes I was reading
my lines…

Imperfect action, awkward action
Is better than no action.

And I’m done hiding baby ! by @bellalolacharms

It’s weigh in Wednesday !

I took this early in the morning
and spent the rest of the day
with my baby, who’s filming
me might I add. He’s a saint !
And my guardian angel !
Seriously there’s no more
loving, caring, patient and
forgiving man than him!

Today hit hard, seeing my stomach
hanging like that. Seeing that I’m
still in the obese category after
losing 173lbs….

At my biggest…. That I know of….

I was 344.4 lbs !

Thank Goodness I got a man
that loved me at about 344.4 lbs
and even at my smallest at 132!
And he didn’t love me more back then either. And he didn’t leave me when I gained it all back !

Who has been your support system through your weight loss journey ? by @bellalolacharms

I was always the weird kid.
I would always say I prided myself in my weirdness.
But once the weight packed on I felt lonely. 😔

I took a lot of what happened to me in school
into social media and I felt like I didn’t fit in.
When I wouldn’t get comments on my post
that would hit really hard. It stung so bad !

So I didn’t show up.
Not for any of my weight loss journeys.
I didn’t fit in with the fit influencers
I didn’t fit in with the body positive crowd.

I knew I had creative talents
And a special message to share.
And every year was gonna be different.

But then I would fall off
And funny enough weight loss was EASY
Compared to showing up online.
I had and still do have a big fear of
NOT being seen….
And it being all for nothing.
