Są takie miejsca, do których wracamy ze szczególną radością i nostalgią. To miejsca pełne dobrych wspomnień, dobrej energii i dobrych ludzi.
W uszach pobrzmiewają też wersy o zaczarowanej dorożce, bo kilka kilometrów dalej znajduje się leśniczówka Pranie, w której bywał i tworzył Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński.

@bellamind.life raz jeszcze dziękuję za wspaniały wspólny czas, a Tobie @filipiukmarta za cudowną gościnę. 🫶 taken in Karwica by @bellamind.life

Supporting Your Child with OCD!
As a parent, watching your child struggle with anxiety or obsessive behaviours can be incredibly difficult. Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is more than just a phase or a set of quirky habits — it's a real and often overwhelming condition that affects how children think, feel, and act.

OCD is characterised by unwanted, intrusive thoughts (obsessions) that create intense anxiety. In response, children may feel driven to perform certain behaviours or rituals (compulsions) to try to relieve that anxiety. While these behaviours might bring brief comfort, the thoughts almost always return, creating a frustrating and exhausting cycle, and they’re often driven by powerful fear and anxiety that your child can’t control.
Children with OCD may vividly imagine upsetting scenarios, which can heighten their distress. These thoughts and images can feel so real and urgent that your child may feel powerless to ignore them.

NLP helps children understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected — and gives them tools to shift those patterns in healthy, empowering ways.
Through NLP, children can begin to identify and challenge the “voice” of their intrusive thoughts. They can learn to create new internal dialogues and calming mental images that help reduce anxiety. One particularly helpful NLP tool is called submodality intervention, which involves changing the way your child mentally “sees” or “hears” the distressing images in their mind. By adjusting details like brightness, sound, or size, your child can begin to detach from the fear those thoughts carry.
These techniques can feel almost like learning a new language — one that teaches your child how to reshape their thoughts and take back control. With practice and guidance, many children become more confident, less anxious, and better equipped to handle daily challenges.

With compassionate support and the right tools, your child can move beyond the grip of OCD and towards a future filled with confidence, calm, and emotional freedom.
If you’re ready to explore how therapy and NLP can support your child, we’re here to help.

When Physical Punishment Is Still Considered “Reasonable”.

Adults have legal protection from being physically assaulted – even in the name of discipline.

But children? In England and Northern Ireland, they don’t have the same level of protection. The current law allows “reasonable punishment” – a phrase so vague, it leaves the door wide open for all sorts of outcomes.

Right now, there’s an open letter signed by 13 health and social care organisations, including the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and the Institute of Health Visiting. It’s being debated in the House of Lords alongside the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill. The conversation is this: should smacking children be illegal in England and Northern Ireland, just as it already is in Scotland and Wales?

“The law currently protects adults from assault more than it does children – our most vulnerable group.”

When Punishment Teaches the Wrong Lesson.

In most cases, children are not destructive or malicious, they are experiencing big emotions with no real tools to express them. And in most cases, what they learn is not “how to behave better,” but that my honesty or irritation was punishable, even if my actions weren’t intentional.

“Many parents believe smacking is discipline – but if it truly worked, why do they have to do it more than once?”

Of course, there are people who firmly believe in their right to use physical discipline. But I’d urge you to ask – does it work? Or does it just release your frustration while teaching a child nothing useful at all?

At NLP4Kids, we support families in learning better tools – because we know that when smacking is on the table, it’s often a sign that other strategies are missing. Many parents struggle to tell the difference between when their child is misbehaving… and when their child just doesn’t understand.

That’s where we come in. As a coaching franchise focused on helping children regulate emotions, learn communication skills, and rebuild family trust, we offer something that punishment never will – connection and long-term change.

When anxiety first shows up in a child’s life, it’s natural for parents and carers to go into full "rescue mode". We change routines, soften our tones, and loosen our rules, hoping to wrap them in a bubble of safety. But what if, in doing so, we are actually making things worse?

Today, I want to bust a critical myth - the idea that adapting to a child’s anxiety is the kindest thing we can do for them. The truth is much harder to swallow, but far more empowering once you know it.

Why Adapting to Anxiety Is a Dangerous Game
When a young person develops anxiety, every instinct in us says, “Help them! Make it easier!” We change our daily routines, help them get dressed, speak differently, even bend household rules. 🏡

It’s completely understandable - especially when you’re racing against the clock to get them to school and they’re mid-meltdown.

Initially, these adjustments might seem harmless. But if they continue, you’re not just helping your child - you’re helping the anxiety move in, unpack its suitcase and start living rent-free in your home.

Instead of validating the child, we inadvertently validate the anxiety. Every time we bend to accommodate it, we strengthen it. We turn it from an invisible fear into a fully furnished guest room nobody asked for.

As soon as we recognise there’s an anxiety issue, the antidote is simple but bold: carry on as normal. Business as usual.

Why? Because when your child’s nervous system begins to calm and it will - they need to step back into an environment that is already steady, stable and familiar. If the world around them has twisted itself into knots, they now have two battles to fight: fixing themselves and adapting to a warped reality.

Keeping life ‘normal’ acts as a silent reassurance. It says, “You are okay. The world is okay. This feeling is temporary.” It reduces the power of anxiety without ever having to confront it directly.

Of course, some days will need sensitivity. Some plans will need changing. But starting each day expecting anxiety to show up, and planning your life around it, keeps you stuck in its shadow.
