PHOTOGRAPHY EXAM - MOVIE POSTERS !
Each film is portraying the internal feelings of being a teenager- ‘thirteen’ portrays the euphoria of being 13, ‘skins’ expresses the blissful facade of being 14, ‘Jennifer’s body’ represents the rage towards men and society at the age of 15, ‘girl interrupted’ highlights toxic influences put into young and naive minds within social media and film depicting mental health and eating disorders at 16, ‘the substance’ expresses the pressures from striving for ‘perfection’ at 17, and highlights the Hollywood role models and influencers promoting ozempic and weight loss (making it seem like a dream where in reality it is a nightmare), and finally ‘black swan’ depicts the confusing age of 18 battling between perfectionism and authenticity.
