Happy Wednesday bookworms🫶 Hope you’re all having a great week!! Currently feel like I’m balancing a million different hobbies but feeling so fulfilled. I’m journaling tons in my hobonichi, making my sourdough starter and working out to feel strong physically & mentally. Reading wise, I feel like I’m not reading as much I want to so I’m really dabbling into audio books!! Hoping to really get down my fall tbr later this week. Fall has officially arrived at my local B&N and it looks soooo cute!! I had to pick up my most anticipated reads for this season and I cannot wait to read these two🤭 there were so many books I definitely wanted to pick up but there’s nothing like a quick trip to your local Barnes to browse and add to your endless tbr🫶

If there is one thing that Elsie Silver does right every single time, it’s a cowboy romance that will have you OBSESSED👏
I was so excited to dive into this one knowing that the FMC is related to the Theo Silva!! This was a very different cowboy romance to the ones I’ve read and it was so much fun!!

Emmett Bush is a professional bull rider who isn’t really looking for love. When offered a spot on a reality tv show about love, there is no way he would ever go on. But to save his family ranch, he would do just about anything, including dabbling in reality tv. What he doesn’t expect though is Julia Silva, his rivals little sister, and she’s totally off limits.

Julia Silva is ready to show off her skills as a consultant on one of the hottest reality tv shows that is sure to do wonders on the charts. She has a problem though, she’s faced with an obstacle she wasn’t expecting, Emmett Bush and his cocky ways. At least that’s what she’s been told by everyone. But can these two see eye to eye? Or perhaps even more?

This was seriously such a fun book to read! It gave small town vibes but with a bit of Hollywood twist due to the reality tv show there filming throughout it. Emmett is so much more than what you see on the outside. He is caring, loving, devoted, and deeply vulnerable throughout his story in the book and it was so beautiful to see his journey. Julia is such a badasss FMC and I loved getting to see her stand tall and take what she wanted. She is such a strong and resilient character who I think compliments Emmett really well.

I feel like the way these two fell in love was so natural and it was beautiful getting to see them fight for their love and not give up!! I loved there little moments where they would sneak away and just be with each other!! They both share a lot of trauma and are extremely vulnerable about it too which only made them care about each other more deeply.

Can’t wait to see what Elsie writes in this world!!🥰🫶

an August recap🌺☀️🥥

Happy Sunday bookworms! Hope you’re all having an amazing weekend!! Before I get into all things September, what the hell was August honestly?! It was literally a ROLLECOASTER for me and it was a lot of adulting! lol I’m desperately soooo ready for fall to be here and for this heat to leave us🥹 I want that crispy fall weather that I crave all year!!

I only read 3 books in August because it was a busy month for me! My favorite was Fever Dream by @authorelsiesilver and I will be posting my review for that one next! I was trying to end the month with finishing up just for the summer but I’m really close to finishing out that one this weekend🩷

My highlight of the month was definitely getting to close it out with placing my hobonichi order for 2027!🤭 I’m such a journaling type of girlie and 2026 has been my first year with a hobonichi. I feel like I just found the perfect layout that works for me, and I can’t wait to receive everything!! Definitely have a little haul coming up for that one soon🫶

I’m so excited for the fall content to come and I really want to get back into posting on here more regularly! It’s just been so hectic with real life stuff that I’ve been struggling to focus on reading! Nothing bad, all exciting stuff that I’ll share later💕 Hope you all had an amazing August and here’s to an amazing September!!

red nails + red books💋❤️🌹

Red is one of my fave colors to wear on my nails!! I always feel like painting my nails red when it’s getting closer to fall and that’s exactly what I went for this week🤭

I’ve been in the worst booksta slump ever!! I’ve never had it this bad but I’m struggling to figure out what to post😩 so I’m gonna be trying to post things that are simple and make sense to me. I think it has a lot to do with me having a very busy season in life and putting my energy towards that. I can’t wait for content ideas to come to be as easily as before.

I haven’t finished any books this month but I literally have 3 books ongoing at the moment lol. Hoping to finish all of them later this week so I can read some summer books before it’s officially over!! Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend so far!🥰✨✨

A (VERY early) fall haul🥧👻🍂

Is it way too early to shop for fall?! Probably. Could I resist seeing it all out and not buy something? No🤭 It’s my favorite time of year and I always feel like I need more time to soak it all in! My local homegoods & target were filled with all things fall & even Halloween!!

I ended up buying the cutest pie garland which I’m planning to use on my shelves this fall! I’ve been wanting to buy the teddy bear pumpkin mug for forever and I finally snagged it before it sells out!!😭🧸 The fall baking was in full swing too and if you know me, then you know I loveee baking and I already have so many ideas for those cute sprinkles!

I also picked up In Her Own League because it’s one of my favorite books I’ve read this year and needed to own it on my shelves! Overall, it was a taste of what’s to come and I AM SO READY for the crisp fall weather that I crave the whole year. Hope you’re all having a lovely Sunday so far🫶🍂✨

currently reading & a photo dump (July edition)💛🐝✨

Hello bookworms!! Why was July the literal busiest month ever! It literally flew by and I feel like I finally can catch my breath from it. I did so many fun things in July that really made it feel like the end of summer for me🫶

My family and I did a mini trip for 4th of July to a little town near us where there was a lake! It was honestly so pretty there and it definitely gave me hallmark vibes with all the little different shops there🥹 I also went to Denver at the end of July for work and had some in n out and got to experience the weather there! It was rainy & very humid lol

In between all of that I’ve been binge watching game of thrones & I baked!! These are some of my favorite cakes I’ve ever made and they turned out sooo yummy😭🤭 I was very proud of them! Ended the month reading 4 books and my favorite was definitely Left of Forver by Tarah Dewitt! I always adore her books and the way she write her characters.

Overall, July was fun, very sunny & hot, and a good way to round out Summer for me. I am fully in the fall vibes and mentally the leaves are crunching and there are pumpkins everywhere for me👻🎃 I’m currently reading Fever Dream by Elsie Silver & First Time Caller by BK Borison and I’m lovingggg both so much!!
