Introducing our next designer for “Double Take, EAC x MFW”, @bellasera66 ❤️ “After graduating with a Bachelor of Fashion Design, I started my brand, Bellasera66, to start sharing my love of designing and sewing on a personal level, making pieces to sell but predominantly allowing myself to have a passionate outlet for creativity that I can share with others. I started developing an interest in fashion after I took a class in high school that was about researching fashion history through the same kind of lens as art history. That really solidified my love affair with designing and creating clothes, and the idea that I could make beautiful things from scratch and express that creativity through physical labours of love and passion, and the escapism that comes with working physically and mentally, as I find inspiration in new things, conceptualise ideas and get to create interesting garments. I like to approach designing by fleshing out a concept, with a really clear idea established in research and development to create a visual world, and then imagine how fashion intersects this atmosphere by designing with intentional selection of fabrics, fibres, patterns and silhouettes etc. to create beautiful pieces. As I grow and evolve passionately as a person, I want the development of the brand to reflect the regeneration of inspiration and ideas through consistently fresh eyes.” Spot @bellasera66 on our runway, October 20th ⭐️ by @bellasera66
