seven years ago, i had this crazy idea to put together a multimedia sketch comedy show created entirely by women, and that show was called funny for a girl.

that show taught me so much: what i am capable of as an artist, and how integral collaboration is to the creative process. i was surrounded by brilliant women who helped turn my dream into something that could live on both stage and screen.

i was never really able to let go of that show because i never felt quite finished with it when the curtain closed.

seven years went by. funny for a girl never did.

today, i can’t even believe i get to say these words, but my company, funny for a girl productions, is officially launched.

while the concept has grown and evolved (yes, boys ARE allowed now hehe), the mission remains the same: empowering people on camera and creating work that feels meaningful, memorable, and unapologetically human.

i have so many people to thank for talking me down and lifting me up, for listening to my crazy ideas, and for being willing to collaborate along the way.

to the original funny for a girl cast and crew: thank you. none of this would be happening today if you hadn’t believed in me back in 2019. 🥹

✨ we are now booking photography and filmmaking projects✨

want to make something together? send me or sav a DM or visit the link in our bio. 🤭

if it’s worth remembering, we’re interested.

see you on set.

lots of little girls dream about their weddings together, and far fewer little girls get to actually attend each other’s weddings as grown ups…. and i’m soooo lucky to have been in that second category at my sweet @annniebailey ‘s wedding!!

i’m so grateful for you, my forever friend, and i’m so excited for your next chapter!!! i love you!!!🤍 by @bellatindallfaiv
