Not every day is sunshine and rainbows, but they all usually end on a good note.

This summer has brought on severe allergies and lots of boogery eyes, and runny noses. A couple of months ago it was Hilda that went to the Vet and got an injection of Apoquel.

So for the last week, Bella has had a really runny nose, and a lot of sneezing.
But a couple nights in a row she woke me up making this weird sound, almost like a human having an asthma attack.
She would be leaning forward, on all paws, while taking in, gasps of air.

My fears were calmed by our nice Vet, Dr. Kline, and the staff @totalcareanimalhospital . He explained that what Bella was experiencing was, reverse sneezing.
It looks more dramatic than it is serious.

It was clear she had a very runny nose, which she happily shared a sample of it on Dr. Kline's sleeve...🤣

Turns out she has the classic case of rhino sinusitis. She was given some medication to take for the next few days to relieve the inflammation.

Of course Mama got her an extra treat at McDonald's for being such a good girl at the doctor's!
