My second summer, filled with a fruitful week and an overwhelming amount of the Lord’s love. I truly couldn’t ask for anything more than the privilege of simply being at the feet of Jesus, where my heart found peace and my soul found rest. The patience He is teaching me is greater than the pain I’ve been carrying. The weight became too heavy for my soul to carry, so the Lord asked for all of me. In surrender, He took my heart of stone and renewed it into a heart of flesh, overflowing with the love that only He can pour into me. As I poured my all into Him, He filled me again. This week was filled with much more than I could’ve imagined. From the laughter during rec games to the beautiful friendships that began as strangers and quickly became family in Christ. Being surrounded by people who love the Lord and walk alongside me in the same faith has been one of the greatest blessings. Yet some of the sweetest moments weren’t the loud ones. They were the quiet moments, the silent tears I cried when I deeply needed the Lord, when words couldn’t express what my heart was carrying. In those moments, His unfailing love met me exactly where I was. He comforted me, reminded me I was never alone, and gently carried the burdens I was never meant to hold. One word that will stay with me long after this week is the word “lament”. The way the pastor spoke on it breathed life into my heart in a way I didn’t know I needed. I learned that even my silent tears can be a form of worship, poured out before the One who faithfully meets me with His unfailing love. I leave this week with a heart that’s lighter, a faith that’s deeper, and a soul renewed. Lord, thank You for reminding me that true fullness is found only in Your presence. I pray this feeling never leaves my heart. As this was my last year at summer camp, I can only imagine what You have in store for my life. A life devoted to serving You and continually remaining at Your feet, wherever You lead me. Thank you, Hume, for an unforgettable summer! Thank you to the Known worship team for leading such powerful and heartfelt worship all week, and thank you to the counselors and staff for making this week so memorable!

God Loves You. ❤️

Church camp has opened my eyes. I never knew God was already in the process of moving my life before I even got to know him. Being surrounded by people who shared my faith helped me feel more connected to God and reminded me that I am loved and never alone, no matter what I’m going through. The worship nights, powerful messages, and deep conversations opened my heart and allowed me to let go of things I had been holding onto. I felt true peace, joy, and a sense of purpose that I had been searching for. I also built friendships that felt more like family, and I left camp feeling renewed, inspired, and stronger in my walk with Christ. I would like to give thanks from the bottom of my heart to my counselors and color leads for inspiring me to surrender my life to Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is not only king but THE bread of life. He loves us more than anything this world has to offer. It was more than just a week away it was a turning point in my life. (p.s blue team on top 🏆💙)
